RAWALPINDI: According to a British media report, Brig Ali Khan, who is facing a court-martial for mutiny as well as treason, has been charged with plotting an air strike on Army’s GHQ in cahoots with an F-16 fighter pilot, Geo News reported.

The reporting news network quoted a witness Major Sohail as saying that Brig Ali and some operatives of a banned outfit had told him that the General Headquarters would be blitzed while a core commanders or a formation commanders meeting was underway.

For that purpose, the witness added, Brig Ali had successfully persuaded a fighter pilot, with an F-16 at his disposal, deployed at an air base near Rawalpindi to do the deadly job.
