Americans won’t support Imran Khan because he is not a yes man.Chinese won’t support Imran Khan because he asks more economic benefits for his people.Saudis, Emiratis won’t support Imran Khan because he will dominate the Muslim politics and inspire many in the Arab world.

And the local power brokers, the game changers, the boys, the military Establishment won't support Imran Khan as they can't go against the wishes of the US, their masters, against Saudia and UAE, other GCC countries as the military is now a big part the rentier, on lease military for Saudia specially.

And the boys won't support Imran Khan as they cannot cede space to any strong civilian, political person who cannot be forced, coerced, persuade and pressurized to go by their orders.

Many others reasons for the boys and that involves big bucks in real Estate, in FWO, NLC, NHA others. In IK tenure the biggest money earners for the military the NHA was given to Murad Saeed of PTI and that stopped the corruption disguised as commission.

And the front man of Bajwa, Aleem Khan, was denied a CM Punjab post by IK, with his land grabbing records around Lahore known to IK near RUDA( Ravi Urban dev. Authority).

Political goals, these groups are loyal to saudi arabia, once they become strong, they join politics and promote saudi arabia nationalism in those countries, which increases Saudi influence. Qatar and Uae do the same, Qatar supports political islam, such as MB, Jamat e Islami etc. Look at the wars in Sudan, Libya, Syria, Yemen, all countries support their ally militants. For the past decade, Turkey has joined the camp. So we have Saudia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey and Iran all fighting to influence.

It's astonishing how no one is calling them out for literally funding terrorism and extremism globally.

And the fact that Pakistan internally cannot even stop the influence which leads to terrorism is even worse.

We are far too reliant politically, economically and militarily on everyone around us.

Terrorists were first used against the Ottoman Empire, this is when the so called Islamic terrorism started in recent history, they waged jihad against the ottomans and during WW1 they won in Makka Madina and formed Saudi Arabia state, this is why their flag has sword and Kalima, meaning they waged jihad using a sword and established tawheed, in another words the previous Muslims of Saudia were mushrikeen and they made them Muslims, then slowly the ideology spread but after 1980s 100B + was invested to spread extremism. Remember the extremists considered saudia as the true Islamic state in the Muslim world so they were no threat, up until ISIS came, they even declared saudia for being non religious, you know what the saying goes "chicken come home to roost" now Muhammad bin Salman is trying to spread secular ideas in order to control extremists, just incase they topple al Saud.

This is why China and Russia take strict action against extremism because they know exactly who funds them.

Unsurprisingly, they are also pushing the coordinated line that it's been leaked by PTI, and not the military:

My ex boss once explained at lunch that, when he was in SA he got invitation to visit some some out of city place near Jeddah or Dammam I don't remember exactly which. He was there for official purpose visiting one of our agents.

The person at whose place my boss stayed at, got him to stay one night as their meeting extended. The next morning on his way back to City, he noticed that this entire locality was cleared by Saudi Army. As in all the residents were asked to leave, with just their clothes.

Once they left , their Airforce bombed the whole locality to ground. He was told that Saudi Forces were intimated of some armed men, or terrorists it wasn't clear. This story I was told almost a decade back, and the incident itself was much older time wise. So the Saudis themselves dealt with the lot, who believed in kinetic action in their own country. Only they crushed them with iron hand.

I heavily agree with the bolded part, these generals and government workers that hold foreign citizenship, foreign assets, and spend prolonged periods of time abroad should never be allowed anywhere near any government institution.

We need to adopt the Indian policy, it's the most smart policy that assures that only those with true stakes inside the country and interest to see it grow are in power - not these foreign shills. I also like the overseas passport they have.

About the US threaten thing, I am not scared of the US or anyone for that matter, but we also must look at it from a perspective of how the average person's life will be effected, could we sustain ourselves domestically, are we really self-reliant? When you have an agitated angry population who's lives are ruined, they will blame their government and you will have a Libya like situation.

I'm also thinking long-term, the decision taken has to be viable and sustainable, not just a flex that is bound to self-destruct
