The BrahMos-A, a modified version of the Indo-Russian supersonic missile configured for air-to-ground delivery, will be test-fired for the first time in March this year from an Indian Air Force Su-30MKI. Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu who visited the BrahMos Aerospace complex in Delhi today was briefed on preparations for the test.

ridiculous .

this has got nothing to do with national govt . Even last year DRDO had quite busy schedule when UPA was still in power .

Is there need to paint everything with political brush ?

Of course not, especially when you consider that this is actually not good, since most of these tests and trials are delayed! Brahmos was planned to be tested last year, Astra, NAG and K15 doesn't offer the required performance, LCA FOC further delayed SP1 and 2 was meant to be provided last year, just as NP2...
So that has nothing to do with political improvements, but even even less with good performance of DRDO, but even they will try to sell it as a success.

Yes, because it is the bureaucrats and scientific advisor and political leadership which gives a go for any test , procurement, production and induction after the approval from ministry of finance and ToT from other countries through MEA.

So would all achievement now will be credited to Modi. And all the delays and trouble pinned on the previous gov?

If you think that a gov will help with defense productions, you are delusional. Government is not the solution to the problems. Gov is the problem.

BTW. Any individual that will make real changes is unelectable. Everything else is shaffling deck chairs.
