LAHORE: Police have stepped up its operation against suspected terrorists believed to be hiding in different parts of Lahore, SAMAA reported Sunday.

According to police authorities, they have rounded up several suspects from different localities near Data Darbar.

The detained persons will be freed only after questioning, said police.

On the other hand, unknown gunmen resorted to aerial firing near Liberty Chowk, spreading fear and panic among citizens.

In the wake of terror threats, police operation is underway for the past many days in the country’s commercial capital. SAMAA
