BNP places 27-point state reform plan

My line of thinking is not to give all the power to a single party or coalition of parties. As we saw from past instances power goes to their head and party in power start to steal.

The idea is to create rule of law and respect for property rights.
That's the reason I'm always fan of a national unity govt/জাতীয় ঐক্যমতের সরকার , where every parties shall have representatives, with a non political head ( or at least a famous person with good reputation)! Like this we can build another CCP in future!

But who will force them to form a national unity govt?

I think armed forces authority can do , from behind! Yes it's deep state as far I understand!

Many people ( including Pinaky) think that current Govt couldn't devour the deep state!

Ps - Here is a news from a news portal ( that possess the same quality of @BananaRepublicUK , ) that sees BNP ghost everywhere ,now even in Dr Younus!

But yes in a national unity govt head he will serve better. However any other non political entity is welcome as well!

He isn't firishta, but he will serve better as head than our dynastic politicians.

Another news claimed that the state reformation ( 27 point of BNP) is actually minus Khaleda Zia , hence it's a movement of the same power of 1/11!

If the whole process is really backed up my 1/11 power , then surely it's auspicious and will bring the best result for Bangladesh!

Loving ignoramuses thinking that there is such a thing as "national unity" government that could work in any situation apart from an existential war.

Talking about things totally out of their limited abilities yet again.:hitwall:

All that would happen if you had everyone having a say in government is precisely nothing as there would never be any agreement and so you may as well not bother with a government in the first place.

Anyway no point feeling anything but pity for them as they have no power to change anything on the ground in BD.:(

But do these baap and maa in the west, who have a documented history of abusing the various tools at their disposal, really have Bangladesh's best interest in heart ?

Foreign involvement in our internal issues shouldn't be welcomed wholesale like this, today it make seem beneficial, tomorrow they will act like they own us...

Let us not forget that the same US government that helped create RAB then sanctioned it and the same BNP government which created RAB then became the alleged "victims" of it.

If BAL is indeed ousted by the people, then we should hope for a capable party to come and take the helm, and not one that just happened to be groomed and spurred on by foreign actors.

The US is right now the biggest (at least one of the biggest) and most powerful country in the world. Bangladesh is nowhere in the equation geopolitically. it has no weight to leverage anything. Calling the US this and that name is pointless, just quit messing with them. They hold all the cards and Bangladesh does not. Whether you "welcome" their behavior of messing in our politics or not, you have no option to stop it.

Who do you think killed off the embarrassment who led the Indian Army?

The use of US power to sway politics in small fry countries like Bangladesh remains absolute. Don't mistake their finesse and politeness for weakness. They have enough money and strategic "pull" to make things happen in Bangladesh - in fact I would not be surprised if they are planning something already.

Bangladesh is dependent on US and EU whims to exist for its well being by way of selling a few pieces of apparel. Bangladesh can be replaced tomorrow by countries like Ethiopia, Kenya or Uganda.

Bangladesh has zero say so in strategic international affairs (UN ar Saudi er bhara khata rental army does not have any kind of pull with the UN) and Bangladesh certainly does not have the right to harass the US Ambassador in conducting what he deems to be official business by moving around in Dhaka, wherever he wants to go. AL "leaders" made a serious strategic mistake by getting some group to harass the US ambassador - the State Dept. knows AL was behind this.

Repercussions will be quick and will sink our country as an entity economically. China will not help, neither will India. Let's hope the US does not go overboard, whatever they plan to do.

So the operative word for AL at this time would be "rokhkey, samhalkey" and get rid of the uneducated goonda cadre elements (even people like Kaua Quader who lacks the education, exposure and strategic calculative chops to understand who he is messing with). AL should clean house and get rid of elements who believe in "thelathelir (shoving and pushing) politics" and only specialize in Raza-Wazeer mara "Mechho Boktrita". That behavior may impress Godi Media and Modi, but not the US. The US dictates and says "Jump" - the AL should ask how high.

AL's challenge will be to transform itself from a party led by uneducated or semi-educated people and more of technocrats and business people. And for once, hire an intelligent guy as FM instead of the idiot we have right now. He is an embarrassment.

The US does not care about making adversaries with the Soviets and giving them sanctions, it will not back away from doing far, far worse to us.

It might give some people warm and fuzzies about Bangladeshi "power" over the US, but this concept is ludicrous.

Just watch this speech and see what Kishore Mahbubani says about Bill Clinton talking about the place of the US over the rest of the independent and sovereign countries and 'multilateralism', China excepted of course. KIshore served as the president of the UN security council for a decade and when he talks, powerful people listen.

Ethiopia, country at perpetual war, no water, replacing Bangladesh?

Comedy gold!!

You think Hasina/AL is not groomed by foreign actors?

You think Hasina/AL is not groomed by foreign actors?
Please note that Hasina was brainwashed by Indian RAW at the wish of President Pranab Mukherjee. Hasina came to BD to destabilize politics. President Zia was killed just after Hasina came back from India.

- Hasina betrayed the BD people and left the anti-Ershad grouping to join the elections.
- Hasina was instrumental in smuggling eleven trucks of weapons and very shrewdly discovered it to impose responsibility on Khaleda Zia.
- Hasina stage-managed the killing in Bangabandhu Avenue to blame Khaleda the then-sitting PM.
- Hasina staged a false election with the help of General Moeen. She promised him the post of President and did not keep it.
- Moeen kept on trusting her promise and did not interfere with the Pilkhana carnage staged by JuboLeague and RAW.

Now, instead of industrializing with the dollars earned through exporting garments, she imported value-added industrial goods mostly from India and China, instead.

Now, BD has short of dollar funds. IT will come down more in the coming months.
