Blast hits residence of Balochistans finance minister
QUETTA: At least three people were killed and six others were wounded when a car bomb exploded inside the residence of Balochistan's provincial finance minister Asim Ali Kurd on Thursday, DawnNews reported.
The explosion occurred near Quettas Railway Housing Society area and two of the minister's security guards were killed.
The 15-kilogram bomb was planted in a vehicle parked inside the minister's residential compound, Inspector General Malik Muhammad Iqbal said.
Two people were killed at the scene and seven other wounded people were taken to hospital, he said, adding one of the wounded succumbed to his injuries in hospital. DawnNews/AFP
