Beyond the stars there are worlds many more
Our quest has yet to pass tests many more
This existence alone does not matter
There are boundless journeys many more
Do not rest on what you have
There are heavens to explore many more
Why worry if you have lost one abode
There are a million addresses to claim more
You are the falcon, your passion is flight
You have skies to transcend many more
Lose not yourself in the cycle of days and nights
Within your reach are feats even more
Gone is the day when I was lonesome in the crowd
Today those who resonate my thoughts are many more

Sitaron se aage jahan aur bhi hain
Abhi ishq ke imtehan aur bhi hain
Tahi zindagi se nahin ye fizayen
Yahan siakdon karwaan aur bhi hain
Khana’at na kar aalam-e-rang-o-bu par
Chaman aur bhi aashiyaan aur bhi hain
Agar kho gaya ek nasheman to kya ghum
Maqmat-e-aah-o-fughaan aur bhi hain
Tu shaheen hai parvwaaz hai kaam tera
Tere saamne aasmaan aur bhi hain
Isi roz-o-shab main ulajh kar na rah ja
Ke tere zameen par makaan aur bhi hain
Gaye din ke tanha tha main anjuman mein
Yahaan ab mere raazdaan aur bhi hain

Saare Jaahaan Se Achchha_Hindustan Hamaara
Hum Bulbulein Hain Isski_Ye Gulistan Hamaara

Ghurbat Mein Ho Agar Hum_Rehta Hai Dil Watan Mein
Samjhon Wahiin Hamein Bhi_Dil Ho Jahaa Hamaara

Parbat Woh Sab Se Uncha_Hamsaaya Aasmaan Ka
Woh Santary Hamaara_Woh Paasbaan Hamaara

Godi Mein Khilti Hain Isski Hazaaron Naddian
Gulshan Hai Jinke Dam Se Rashk-e-Janaan Hamaara

Aye Aab-e-Rod-e-Ganga_Woh Din Hain Yaad Tujhko
Utra Tere Kinaare Jab Caarvan Hamaara

Mazhab Nahin Sikhaata Aapas Mein Beir Rakhna
Hindi Hain Hum_Watan Hai Hindustan Hamaara

Unaan-o-Misr-o-Roma Sab Mit Gaye Jahaan Se
Ab Tak Magar Hai Baaqi Naam-o-Nishaan Hamaara

Kuchh Baat Hai Ke Hasti Mit-ti Nahin Hamaari
Sadion Raha Hai Dushman Daur-e-Zamaan Hamaara

"Iqbal", Koi Mahram Aapna Nahin Jahaan Mein
Maalum Kya Kisi Ko Dard-e-Nihaan Hamaara**

"Song Of Hindustan"

Nothing Like Our Hindustan In The World Entire
She Is Our Garden, We Her Warbling Choir

We May Wander Far From Home_Home Resides In Our Thoughts
We Too Live At That Place Where Lies Our Heart

The Highest Mountain Of The World_A Neighbour Of The Skies
That Tough And Tall Watchman Guards Us Day And Night

A Thousand Rivulets Criss-Cross Through Her Plains And Wilds
Because Of Which Our Garden Vies With Paradise

O Ganges, Flowing Past Thy Banks_Remember Thou That Time
When We Landed On Thy Shore_In This Sacred Clime

Religion Does Not Teach Us To Harbour Mutual Spite
We Are Indians, One And All_Hindustan Our Land Of Pride

Greece, Egypt And Rom_Have Vanished Out Of Sight
But Our Name Lives On In Spite Of Time And Tide

Something Must Be There To Keep Our Name Alive
Though The World For Centuries Has Been To Us Hostile

We Do Not Have A Confidant In The World, "Iqbal"
None Knows What Sorrows Lurk Within Our Heart**

Baba Bulley Shah was probably the first outspoken person in the subcontinental India where he spoke against Mullahs and Priests who were out to use their religion to build slave like followers.

This whole poem is one of my favorite works from him. Its actually not in the form of one poem, he wrote many many variations of this. In each variation he ridicules the mechanical teachings of orthodox religion, where the spirituality of the religion is often ignored.

Your studies have brought you much success
But have you ever bothered to examine yourself?
How quick you're to run towards the temples and mosques
Have you ever ran like this towards your conscience?
You claim to battle devils all day after day
Have you ever battled your desires?
O Bulley Shah, quit trying to catch those in the sky
Have you ever tried to catch those waiting for you at home?

Your twisted teachings... Enough Already!

Parh parh ilm tay fazil hoyo
Kadi apne aap nu parhiya nahi
Paj paj warna ay mandir maseeti
Kadi mann apne wich warya nahi
Larna Roz shaytaan de naal
Kadi Nafz apne naal lariya nahi
Bulley Shah, asmaani uddiyaan pharo nahi
Jera Ghar bethiya onhu parhiya nahi

Bass Kareen oh yaar, Ilmon bass kareen oh yaar

Khuda bande se ye poche bata teri raza kia hai"

Let me drink from he veiled wine cup
This harvest of flowers will not return everyday
The wine that brightens life—
The wine that intoxicates the world—
The wine in which flows
The music of everlasting life,
The wine that reveals eternity’s secret.
Unveil the secrets, O Saqi.
Look! The world has changed apace!
New are the songs, and new is the music;

Piladay mujhe woh may pardah soz
Keh Aati nahi fasl-e-gul roz roz
Woh may jissay hai roshan zameer-e-hayaat
woh may jissay hai masti-e-kainaat
Woh may jissay hai soz-o-saz azal
woh may jissay hai khulta raaz azal
Utha saqiya parda iss raaz say
Larra de mamoolay ko shahbaaz se
Zamane ke andaaz badlay gaye
Naya raag hai saaz badlay gaye
