Opening batsman Anamul Haque and pacer Shafiul Islam have been named in Bangladesh's preliminary squad for the series against India next month. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Monday announced 23-member squad for the series that includes a one-off Test and a three-match ODI series.

Anamul had suffered a dislocated shoulder during Bangladesh's 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup match against Scotland and subsequently missed the Pakistan series at home. Shafiul missed the series due to a leg injury.

Pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who debuted in the only T20 International against Pakistan, was also named in the squad. Both Anamul and Shafiul have to report to strength and conditioning coach Mario Villavarayan.

The Indian cricket team will arrive in Dhaka on June 7. Fatullah's Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium will host the Test from June 10 while all three ODIs will be played on June 18, 21 and 24 in Mirpur.

Bangladesh squad: Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Mominul Haque, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Musfiqur Rahim, Soumya Sarkar, Shuvagata Hom Chowdhury, Liton Kumar Das, Nasir Hossain, Anamul Haque, Sabbir Rahman, Taijul Islam, Arafat Sunny, Zubair Hossain, Masrafe Bin Mortaza, Taskin Ahmed, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Abul Hassan, Mohammed Sahid, Shafiul Islam and Rony Talukdar.

how many test have kangladesh won since it is given test status, there are many other deserving teams like ireland which deserves a test status over bangalis as we have seen that were not even able to get 10 wickets of pakistan in tests

I demand a bangladeshi to officiate the match.. CCTV cameras in Indian dressing room. BCCI officials not allowed within 100 meters of stadium. Mobile jammer in stadium.

I was surprised to see bengalis going up and down like a worked up spring in the "vs Pak".... never knew they were this hostile, emotional and utterly despicable... might as well return the favour...
