Bangladesh police break up anti-PM protest with tear gas, rubber bullets

Yesterday's violence was instigated by Awami League but they may make BNP a scapegoat for it.

Right on cue as you predicted, look at what Kaua is saying.

'When asked about the reason for the search, the police told us they were "on duty". We cooperated with the policemen during the search,' he said.

Earlier this morning at around 9:30 AM, the police arrested BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir from his house in Gulshan.

I think all the top BNP leaders will be arrested so that they cannot lead the anti-government movement. We are not hearing anything from Tareq. Till now, he has been maintaining the silence.

Not really - go to the BNP official channel. He is putting out regular videos.

Here are some Hartal news pieces from about a half hour ago.

Never thought BNP has so much support
Where did u see the support. Most of the ppl u've seen in the rally have been paid to be present there. That's their profession. Hardly any common ppl without any agenda have joined the protest. It's clearly visible from the three day so called strike that's currently going on in the country.

Hardly anyone has joined with BNP to make the strike successful. Classes are going on at full flow, offices are open, Roads are filled with public transport and everybody is busy with their lives apart from the paid goons of the BNP & Jamat who have nothing better to do than vandalizing the public property.

Not really - go to the BNP official channel. He is putting out regular videos.

This tarek guy is a pathetic human being. He leads a lavish lifestyle with the money he has stolen from Bangladesh and now he's telling others to die for him, Why? Why would anyone sacrifice their precious lives for a thief?
