Don't worry, Glass will still be half full :D

LMAO.. u do realize that the height of whatever river deposits at the fag end, can never be more than the level of sea water ?

You see, we are already above the sea level by sediments deposited for many million years. So, there will be more deposits on our side in the future and there will be more erosions in India. We survive on our new lands and you swim in the snake and crocodile infested Hindustani swamps for ever. You see, nature is very cruel, but not bad for Indians because they love nature.

This part is very important

Thanks for the enquiry. I will add something more. The land seen from above like a shadow is actually the Continental Shelf of Bengal. Its depth is about 100 m near the shore and when the depth is 200m, it is about 200km away from the shore. So, new sediments are depositing near the shore. However, after Indian Farakka instead of depositing on the Continental Shelf much of the sediments are now depositing on the river beds.

It has created a problem of navigation and raised the probability of floods in certain years. However, it is good if the inept govt of BD can utilize this soil to build river embankments and sea dikes. However, this sediment will need a mix of other types of sticky clayee soil.

More to the above, this soil can be more fruitfully used to widen and raise the elevation of national roads throughout the country. Most of our roads were built with soils dug from the adjacent farms dsstroying many million acres of farmland. These canals can now be filled up with the river sediments, on which existing roads can be widened.

Do you want to say because of 1 billion tons of soil erosions by flows of rivers each and every year, India will become non-existent with the creation of low lands and swamps in that historical country, and the land of Bangladesh will keep on increasing @ of 35 sq.km/year? So, Indians, please bring out your calculators and do your math to find out what happens after, say, 10,000 years. So, be nice with our cattle smugglers because there will be no land in India to cultivate by cows.

Since the soil is from India, we can claim the new land created to be a part of India :smokin:

Better, you build another one or two Farakka that will keep your soil in your own country. Anyway, BD will be a bigger country than it is today, its land will keep on rising for ever until India has no more soils to walk on.

Dude, dont crack me up!! If we do not have soil to walk on, then we will walk on Bangladesh..

Merge with India?

Eeewww....

We should be the one who will say the bolded part if god forbid the merger will happen.. I am saying the land created due to the soil erosions rightfully belong to India

Well BD does not have apetite to invade or annex Hindu Bengal. We will wait till it turn Muslim Bengal and join us on its will. dont worry, may be your decendant would be part of greater bd army in next 100 years..
well it may be the other way around and maybe after 100 years your descendents will be a part of the Akhand Bharat army:devil: as we'll claim all those lands which belonged to Bharatvarsh and will bring the people of those lands under the fold of Sanatan Dharma once again:cheers:

Look at the Indian, having a wet dream over it. !!!

nope we are saying truth :P

Nope buddy.. the entire BD area is not formed from sediments.. only like the lower half is..

Yeah so ? we are not in denial that many parts in INdia will be submerged.. but FYI, the entire coast of India in west as well as east have hills running parallel to the shores.. Hence they are called the eastern and Western Ghats..

SO when the day comes that major parts of India is under water, then that would be when half of human race is extinct..

Merge with India?

Eeewww....

No Freaking way! Just return our soil back thats all.

Meanwhile we are building more and more Dams to stop part of these sediments from flowing into BD. Just look at number of dams we have on Ganga. We will do the same soon on all other rivers so that no soil goes to Bangladesh.
