Atheist War Hero, serving Soldier

For all my Atheist, Humanist & Agnostic fellow Pakistanis. Just because through science we know how stuff works, does not mean we know that no one created it. Its like i finally understand the mechanism of how a TV works and proclaim no one created a TV because i know how it works. There is a creator, there is an afterlife, there will be judgement. Everything in the entire universe with all its detail, perfect mechanisms and vastness, affirm this. :-) (Hamza Ali Abbasi)
I myself couldn't say better.
Yet atheists are completely oblivious to these perfectly sensible arguments.:hitwall::hitwall:

How can ? before 1979 yes they are serving and those who selected before 1979 served till now...what about the form did they lied on the form ?

Because there is no ban on any community from joining the army... There is no such a ban ! Nobody is drummed out of the military over his religious associations that is BS!

I guess she has Not :D they don't teach that in Pakistani textbooks where they can rote learn it

Dear Burden of proof rest upon you to prove the existence of your deity not the rejectors
Teapot analogy is the best answer to theist's fallacious ‘absence of evidence is not evidence of absence’ argument

I ought to call myself an agnostic; but, for all practical purposes, I am an atheist.
I do not think the existence of the Christian God any more probable than the
existence of the Gods of Olympus or Valhalla. To take another illustration:
nobody can prove that there is not between the Earth and Mars a china teapot revolving in an elliptical orbit, but nobody thinks this sufficiently likely to be taken into account in practice. I think the Christian God just as unlikely

- Bertrand russell

Wannabes. :/
They haven't studied Quran for sure and come up with the conclusion that there's no god
An obscure text is not a proof of anything, you'll have to do better than that.

.
You can not possibly prove empirically or scientifically the existence of a deity as science is about establishing the link between cause and effect pertaining to physical phenomena, when we are talking about God (Islamic concept) we are talking about an entity by definition that transcends causality or else we would have to go into an infinite series of regressive events, God by logic has to be the uncaused cause or else nothing else gets explained.

ma'm, you are trying to prove the nonexistence of a thing which in your opinion does
not even exist:D-why this effort?:woot:

lol - No .
I am merely pointing out where the burden of proof lies, especially when pseudoscientific claims are used.

That is the thing about this @Hypatia she is denying the existence of God yet has not offered any alternative arguments for the existence of the universe, the onus is on her to prove the universe self created it self or to show scientifically or philosophically that god can not possibly exist, as for the argument how can one prove the non existence of something that does not exist that I am sure people like this @Hypatia use , well lets put it to test, " a noble prize winner in physics with 2 heads" something which does not exist and can easily be proven to not exist just by looking up all the physics noble prize winners from the first to the last.kudos

I did, and whilst the place was full, that was only because the Mosque was minuscule.

I've been to several big mosques and they're normally packed. Sometimes some are so full that people have to pray outside in the car park.

Come across a serving soldier _ currently recoperating from injuries suffered in theatre, now this guy is highly decorated and adored by both the men serving under him and his superiors.

Now this guy has an interesting back ground, he comes from a prominent Sindhi nationalist family, that have included separatists and even now has some Jeah Sindhi people in it.

Both his parents were full blown atheist communists and he was bought up as a full blown atheist. (His decision to join the Army, shocked and surprised his parents and family).

Apparently the Army is fully aware of his views, and this has not affected his career, his fellow Officers and Soldiers don't seem to care, and his fast rise seem to indicate a change in the Armed Forces regarding religion, much more tolerance.

For obvious reasons will not reveal his identify for his safety.

Hi,

When they were going out and laying down their lives in hundreds of thousands---it was MOTHER RUSSIA that they were serving and not the communist party during the world wars.
