In a recent Gallup survey conducted across the country, the Pakistan Army has emerged as the institution with the highest level of public approval, earning an impressive 88 per cent rating.

The survey, titled "National Public Opinion Poll Report," conducted between June 10 and June 30, gathered responses from 3,500 participants representing various regions in all four provinces of Pakistan.

The survey illuminated the public's sentiments on various institutions and political figures, offering a comprehensive snapshot of Pakistan's current political landscape and the challenges it faces, including inflation, poverty, unemployment, and concerns about the efficacy of democracy.

The reason to become popular institution bcz every one abusing them for current situation thats why they keep posting bill board around cities PAKISTAN IS FKG NOOR n NOOR ko kuch nhi hota blah blah ...

How has that helped them?

It is an issue of fact not discussing the morality of it
@PradoTLC
lets discuss the morality of it
suppose the command asks the soldiers to do somethig harmful to pakistan, and the soldier does it - because you know, thats the strength of the army. will that help them or pakistan?

when a coup is ordered and the soldiers go about the orders - they are willfully part of breaking the law of the country. it does not matter they were "following orders"

a mafia's foot soldiers are also "following orders" when they kill/hurt someone. doesnt make them immune to law and order.

Re read what I said carefully…

I am not discussing the morality of the discipline merely stating what it is !!

don't confused Chachoo whisky & co with the whole army.. it is a mistake idiots like Nawaz consititently make..just FYI Imran khan has stated on the record the same

They follow their orders!

exactly.. that is one of the strengths and weakness of the Pakistan Army.. the troops follow orders with out question.

@PradoTLC - i understand you dont want to talk about the morality. just putting it out there that when we point to the army, it includes those soldiers who followed orders that are detrimental to Paksitan.
every soldier takes oath to first uphold pakistan's security. this takes precedence than following orders from the top.

so by extension:
any army soldier part of DHAs, part of coups, part of bullying the public to support one party or the other, (etc etc) are all part of the same mafia.

there could certainly be "good people" - but so far, they havent made much difference.

Lol

Then on that logic over seas Pakistanis who mainly buy DHA properties are bankrolling Chachoo whisky?

The reality is structural element that Pakistan has been built up over decades has made individual Pakistani impotent .. even though there exist utter hostility of the current status quo
