Let's check the time and date (Muhurth) of when Pakistan army was established. It seems nothing can go wrong for them

3500 participants - lol - has to be a joke.
come to pdf, there are more people here and you can get a survey.
rest of the folks have no money to pay bills or eat food - where will they participate in a survey?

Don't laugh; most of the U.S. Presidential election polls are conducted with 500 (low quality) to 3000 (high quality) respondents. If the sample is randomly chosen, 3,500 people's opinion does indicate popular opinion to probably within 5% margin of error. Key word is random sampling and that is not easy.

I understand random samples. I work in the field. But you should know very well what the status of our military is, since their engineered govts have failed to keep the economy going.

Previously all economic and political misfortunes could be dumped on the political parties and the army continued it's "clean and patriotic" image

Now the awaam understands all govts have had the army behind it. One way or the other, all misfortunes and economic collapse are the result of the army as well.

They are just another party that keeps winning without getting elected.

A random sample that's not much random 😂

Pakistan army is the only institution in the country. Rest are special interest group unions.

Nothing you say proves why the public opinion may be wrong. Unless there was duress in the survey i.e., people were afraid 'wrong' response will come back to hurt them, a random survey of opinion is just that. It probably just shows the army is the least bad option people have. It is like our elections; people have no choice but to elect Biden if the only alternative may be Trump.

Not really it easy to get random sample

Just ask person do you like army or not if they say yes, include them in the study and call it a random sample

Problem solved

Issue is why 92% why not 100%

It's same question president ayub asked his subordinate after the elections

The Gallup survey was conducted in GHQ itself where 12% of officers had disapproved the company they are employed to.

Its the only functioning institution, because it doesn't have to worry about budgetary constraints. Otherwise, it would be as eff'd up as the rest of the institutions in Pakistan.

How is it functioning??
By what metric?

It's only army in the world that has lost every war and can't subdue 30 years of militancy

Every other country had no issues with adapting and maintaining law and order

Unless they are fraudulently using the Gallup name, neither Gallup nor Gallup International will allow such a charade.
