It depends on the how much close relations two countries have, countries don't sell that kind of weapons to any buying country just like US don't sell Toma Hawks to anyone but they provide those to UK.

True that JF-17 is no match for Typhoon.

But the UK only has 4 Typhoons in the Falklands. Without a Type-45 destroyer in the area for support, 20 JF-17 would still be able to overwhelm the 4 Typhoons. If this news is true it will require the permanent basing of more Typhoons.

Dont forget that this jet can comes with very advanced CM-400AKG supersonic CM with range of 240 kms and it is full NCW capable fighter jet. i am sure UK still remmember the inferior French Exxocet Anti ship missiles fired by Argentina

China and Pakistan has a special relationship----. If Pakistan needs it----it is available from china on very soft loans due to geopolitical problems that are arising in the region. Argetina OTOH cannot play the same role of Pakistan for china---.

But Argentina has a very special place for china----it will be the first step in making a major weapons sales to Argentina and this opening up the south American market---

It depends----like a year ago---china got upset at Pakistan and told to fix problems---and then later china had issues come up---india threatening---japan threatening---Vietnam and philipines standing up---then china offered J10B's to pakistan from existing stock 20 of them for immediate delivery when Mr Modi started threatening Pakistan as well----. Soft loans become very soft loans---I don't know if they are wiped off or not----but right now---china is in deep and Pakistan is its get away card----.

Well china is being surrounded right now----it made some aggressive moves against vietam and japan. The americans got india to play proxy---india has openly threatened china---and japan has not stepped back----. And china is finding out that it is ill equipped militarily to confront japan.

India is openly telling Vietnam that it will train its military and support it against china----.

And if inda gets into a threatening position----china has its flanks covered by Pakistan.

As you might have noticed---china has changed its posture in the south china sea as well.

Brits are actually worried about a possible sale of CM-400AKG, supersonic Anti Ship Missiles which can destroy any Royal Navy ship from a stand off distance, too far for RN interceptors to chase and destroy.

It is quite worrisome to britain if one remembers what the Argentinian pilots did to the Royal Navy with 4 Mirages armed with exocet missiles.
Anyhow for 400 million $ or so, this will be a very good deal for Argentina, add another 200 million $ for weapons and it is still a very sheap deal compared to the billions of dollars for the same number of Western aircrafts plus at least a billion$ for weapons.
The only concern, if there is one, is the Usraeli presence in argentina, who would love to have the JF-17 bleue prints among many other information about the weapons, avionics, radar ECM and more, first for themselves along with the US and also for India as a good friend gesture to build more confidence and sell more of their weapons.

Argentina has no credit worthiness. They have to buy everything on cash or has to take throw away junks.

AFAIK Argentina is not liked by some of it's neighbors due to historical tensions. As for Britain they have naval base and air force base in Falkland Island. Britain has Trafalgar and Astute nuclear subs (also equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles), Type 45 guided missile destroyer, Swiftsure class attack subs, at least 1 destroyer, etc. Even rapier SAM defense system installed across the island. If UK decides to deploy more Typhoons to Falklands they can certainly defend it.

They can't use cruise missiles to bomb the Falklands, the population is theirs! they have to have boats on the ground if Argentina takes it again.
The brits got lucky the last time their destroyers were there, they lost only one to an exocet missle fired from a low flying Mirage, the biggest one was luckier as one of the Argentinian class-209 submarine had a reversed electrical wiring problem for the firing switch due to maintenance or sabotage and could not fire their torpedos at the crucial moment!!!?

JF-17 is more advanced than Typhoon. JF-17 has DSI. Typhoon does not have DSI.
