Would look to get more details. China has been trying it's best to build us up but aek hum hain nalaik jo kharay hi ho nahi pa rahay hain. Provincialism and political bickering is holding us back.

isn't it related to up gradation of HMC to not only partner in ML-1 project but also to take on big projects within Pakistan?

HMC recently issued a tender for a rerolling mill, which I found very interesting as rerolling is low end technology whereas HMC is a forge, foundary and fabricater of heavy machinery. Maybe the rerolling mill is for railway rails for ML1

Forge foundry and fabricator is not ideally suited for bulk production of similar shapes on cotinous basis. Re rolling is suited for continous production

I know the insight while dealing with HMC couple of months ago ,there is going to be Re Rolling Mill project closed to 100 K Tons per month , There were discussions on making Buses (EV) with Chinese Firms also there were talks on making turbines for boilers and power plant .The new MD Zaheer shah is a good person and is thinking out of the box ,lastly for railway ML-1 will go to Chinese companies even for small work as we dont have capacity to producer high tech equipment
