yeah we also have a community school in our village and the most interesting fact is that the first school opened in my village was for only girls as sending them outside of the village was risky at that time.

wow thats so pleasing....watching community activism gaining momentum is the healthiest sign of society.
Community run schools are the way to go when Govt. education sector has completely collapsed by malfunctioning and mismanagement.
