9 Bangladeshis arrested

GUWAHATI, March 10 – Nine suspected Bangladeshi nationals including two minors and a woman were arrested this morning by Government Railway Police (GRP) while they were trying to board the Kanchanjanga Express at Guwahati Railway Station.
Police also recovered Bangladeshi currencies along with cell phones with Bangladeshi SIM cards.

Those arrested have been identified as Ariful Hakim, Abdul Malik, Md Sayed, Md Abdullah, Qurban Ali, Md Salim, Mehmuda Begum, Noor Khalim and Muchidika.

Police said that the Bangladeshi nationals crossed the Indian border through the Tripura sector and they were heading towards Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh.
