14th January 1983, Wing Commander Shahid Lateef, disembarks from his F-16 Fighting Falcon at Sargodha airbase, thus becoming first pilot to land the legendry jet in Pakistan and introduce the awesome weapon system which even after 40 years maintains it's calibre over the enemy.

PAF high officials welcome some of the first six pilots who trained and qualified in record time on the Fighting Falcon in USA and brought the F-16s to Pakistan.

40 Years later, the legendry F-16 is still causing havoc on much newer and allegedly more capable fighter aircraft.

And with PAF inducting latest versions of the Viper, the nightmare for the enemy continues, so much so that the mere mention of only Eight more Vipers for the PAF caused a melt down in Indian Airforce and related services.
