You know TEI has been building subcomponents and modules for GE and CFM engines that fly in every 737 or Airpus 320 flying right? What commercially successful finished product has HAL or GTRE contributed to again? There is a reason why the Turkish project timelines have been shorter, they have been building subcomponents for major commercial projects since 1985.

You have been assembling knockdown kits since the 90s/2000s, its not in any way the same as the F-16 participation. Turkey was part of the joint program from the beginning, they built the entire plane from scratch in Turkey, including the production of the engine. Its not in any ways comparable. lol



Depends which model of the F-16 you mean and when it was produced. Technically the Ozgur series f-16s, the entire avionics package is Turkish.
The Su-30MKI is not only manufactured in India from the raw material stage, but it also integrates a variety of Indian systems and subsystems. These include the Tarang radar warning receiver, the MAW300 missile approach warning system, the Siva targeting pod, the Litening targeting and navigation pod, and the SURA self-protection jammer. Furthermore, the aircraft is equipped with an indigenous Electronic Warfare Suite developed by the Defence Avionics Research Establishment (DARE) in India. The ongoing development of the GaN-based UTTAM MK3 AESA Radar for the same aircraft adds another layer of advancement. The integrated missiles and bombs are also of Indian origin, setting it apart from the Turkish F16, which is only license-manufactured in Turkey.

It will add Midcourse guidance and two way communication capability for missiles
