Afghanistan has a love affair with India. In the minds of Afghans there is no better country in the world than India. Their political elite also seem to think along this line so they have almost dumped Pakistan wholesale though it is their neighbor and latched on to India. Don't know how much India can militarily help them, but societally India helps them a lot.

LOL. Okay I won't. Let me put it this way whatever life throws at you don't let it faze you. You are the lone determinant of your sense of well being.

Afghans into Bollywood? Do they want to live in India? How many live in India?

India more than USA is helping Afghanistan to stand up on its feet. It built them a dam, commissioned energy plants to provide electricity in Afghanistan. Built universities and trained their doctors, agriculturists, and their parliamentarians. Built them a brand new parliament. Put busses on their roads, built them a road.

Plus the hold of Bollywood movies and serials on Afghan society in shaping their views and culture is irreplaceable.

I don't know how many actually live in India, must be within 50K. But yes Afghans are Bollywood addicts. They would move to India in the blink of an eye if India only allowed them. Indians are not so much aware of Afghanistan except for those politically inclined.

Plus all said and done Indians, especially the non-Muslims will always have reservations about Muslims so India would not grant them citizenship so easily.

Oh I can be very mean but only to those I consider antagonistic. I generally don't like to suffer fools and unfortunately India and Pakistan is kind of full of them. It is the national mood in a way, we are in the process of breaking down the residual colonial shackles which held us on still.
