Iran’s Response to US Sanctions Will Be Shocking: IRGC General

If the US imposes new sanctions against Iran, it will be shocked by a more severe and decisive response, a senior IRGC general says.

“The United States will be shocked by Iran’s retaliation if it imposes new sanctions on our country,” wrote Mohsen Rezaei, the Secretary of Iran’s Expediency Council and a senior general in the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), in his Instagram page.

“By imposing new sanctions, the US not only acts against Iran, but also scoffs at Europe, China and Russia. It means that the US disregards the UN Security Council,” he added.

“This enables us to act against Washington. Our counterattack will be more severe and decisive than the initial move,” he went on to say in a post entitled “Iran’s severe response to the extension of sanctions,” as reported by IFP.

The point is, the "sole superpower" can't do anything at all about an undeveloped country like North Korea, even while NK is building ICBMs and threatening to wipe America off the face of the Earth.

Why? Because they have nukes.

And they are going to get better tech eventually. Thermonuclear weapons (hydrogen bombs) and ICBMs are 1960's technology, it's not exactly cutting edge technology. They'll have it within the next few years, they can already launch satellites so they already technically have the capability.

America prefers invading countries that can't hit back.

so let's say US wants war and South Korea doesn't, how is US supposed to conduct its operations?

yes US Navy and/or Air Force is massive but South Koreans will receive a devastating response through conventional means.

Maybe you think that nuclear weapons aren't the best deterrent, I would say you are wrong.

And South Korea is not the target. North Korea is building ICBMs, they don't need ICBMs to hit SK. They have made it very clear that the American mainland is their primary target.

Infact this is not the equation.

equation is that usa left china alone as it was busy with Iran. Had not Islamic Revolution in Iran there in IRAN, usa would be playing music with china today. The thrust of the Islamic Revolution was so powerful in 1979 that Messing up middle east wasted plenty of time of usa and allies and still no success and china Got plenty of time. Had not been the Islamic revolution in Iran, the china friend Saudi will not be exporting oil to china instead all of Middle east oil be going to usa or europe and their allies. I did not see any fun in forum and news.. I saw happy ppl who loved USA and EU for lifting sanctions.. belive me if mullahs were gone than you could easy find a pro EU and pro USA iran they would love them they would be happy to help them.. just give them wealth..

There is one more big reason why North Korea is still surviving and i.e. China this factor is more important than the nukes itself. Americans know that China will intervene in case of war and nodody in the world has the stomach to go to war with a 2.5 million strong army let alone the air force and navy.

You are right USA will not let us go easily. The only way of defeating USA's hegemony is our internal alliance just like Chinese people's alliance after the internal wars. China is our symbol.
About the NUKEs, first of all our leader has banned developing and creating NUKEs becoz of Islamic rules. He says NUKEs should be banned world wide for sake of human kind.
Secondly, i remember even without NUKEs our closest friends imposed sanctions on us. You know what i mean buddy.
We don't want to get isolated by west. Undoubtedly neither Russia nor China will not protect us in that case. I'm realistic about it.
As the third reason, we don't want to give a good excuse to USA to weaken Russia and China by it's missile shields in Eastern-EU countries and the eastern of Asia for example Japan, SK, Viet etc. If we develop NUKEs, USA will surround both of China and Russia and also Iran by it's missile shields claiming of Iran's nuclear threats. Honestly We want our friends stay strong.

we should not fool ourselves and should not worry since Almighty Allah swt is leading his best ummah to the promised victory.

They will cowardly get back to the slogan of "Death to America, Death to Israel" and chant with it every Friday after Jummah prayer. I expect nothing else from these people.
