Not underestimating china here. But pakistanis surely are underestimating US. US doesnt have a live manned space program cause they have outsourced the manned space travel to international space stations to provate companies such as space x and boeing while US is now concentrating on reaching outer space I.e. Moon n beyond. Check Orion Space Vehicle, its only space ship close to operational clearence having the capability to transport humans beyond lower earth orbit I.e. Moon, mars etc. China has never left lower earth orbit in manned missions while US has already achieved it in 1970s, when they reached moon and now with Orion they are looking fr mars. Sorry but China is good in space but not close to US yet. Among other things US is only country to have deep space internet and communications, probes travelling to moons of saturn , jupiter and beyond etc.

We surely don't underestimate America. Our future is not with them nor are they going to go to war with us so the americans are irrelevant to us. That's all. We are however aware of their capabilities.

Indian air force and army has been preparing for years for a two front war and navy has been practicing a blockade but in reality the situations are much more practical now.
Indian armies except for navy can not successfully defend their grounds for more than 20 days in case a real non nuclear war and even indian navy will have hard time protecting such a long coastline but here comes diplomacy, india knows he can not alone fight both pak china hence it has built diplomatic relations with all world israel, usa, russia, europian union, japan, australia india might not get full on military support but they are surely gonna pull china out of this war within 7 days of war and if china opposes them their is 3rd world war coming,
if china pulls out pak would be the only bad guy facing some heavy causalities, and if pak uses even a small tactical nuke(to turn non nuke war onto a nuclear one)
pak should also realize it would be leveled in such a case
So its like a circle what goes out is gonna come back "pak is cleaver enough to chose its battles", may it should push for peace

China has barely done anything significant.

And remember, its much easier for other countried to develop space programs now, than it was in the 60s.

Name some great Chinese achievements in space travel, not missiles or such. NASA and ESA are still most advanced in this field, China and even India are advancing fast, but China is in no way THE MOST advanced in this field, not even closely.

A lot of what China has is always downplayed by them. Remember the Chinese and americans both claimed that China could not build the J-20 and J-31 till at least 2030. Yet in 2011, the J-20 was making it's 1st test flight. China has already caught up with the Russians and it's only a matter of time til they catch up with the americans. Everyone admits this. It's not a matter of if but when!

Wow, making 5th gen jet isnt even any major achievement. Besides, we are talking about space exploration, not planes.

J 20 has flew, so what? Has it ever shot down enemy aircraft? Has it ever succesfully been tested in battlefield? US stil has the best PROVEN aircrafts in the world, others have claims and guesses.

And what do you think happens if US joins against China in arms race, like Cold War 3.0? Do you think US isnt able to put up good fight, just like it did with the Soviets? US puts out some bright minds, its a superpower f7r reason. China is still rising power, that is still largely a western manufacturing hub.

Just because US isnt putting all its focus on developing weapons, doesnt mean it is unable to develop new ground breaking tech.

How do you think China is going to uphold its rule on world, once its rivers and nature is polluted beyond restore? China has amazingly bad pollution. All US has to do is sit back and watch while China is killing itself, blinded by money.

Indigenous production of a 5th generation fighter jet is a HUGE achievement. If it wasn't then EVERY country would be making it. So far, no more than 5 are capable of doing this.

If China has bad pollution from industrialization than so do other industrialised nations or those wishing to become as such.

Mostly because countries like France cant just take money from budget for arms race. China can.
Only few countries are even interested in making aircrafts in world. Its more about there are already many commercial aircraft manufacturers and west
