Pakistan WILL get access to J-20 and J- 31 when they come on line just as Pakistan ALREADY has access to ALL advanced Chinese weapons systems. Pakistan already has advanced missiles that can shoot down indian fighters which has stopped india from attacking Pakistan many times. All else is conjecture.

If F-16 would ever be produced in India under make in India, it will be for the export countries. There is no requirement for the F-16, rather F-18 SH does have the chance, since it have the carrier varriant, but since no one in India is looking for the Rafale F3R replacement/alternative till then its zero requirement. LCA MK-1 got 120 unit order. MK-2 is not ready yet, but IN is committed for the 40 unit. There is the requirement of 80-90 unit for the twin seater trainer variant too.

I think the idea of the IAF is now shifted from the role based airforce to the Multi Role stucture, thus the Airsuperiority/Air Defence fighter plane line SU-30MKI after Super Sukhoi will get the Ground attack capability too. So in short it will be the High Tier fighter plane and the Low tier fighter plane, and LCA will fill the low tier group.

What is funny is that all the Pakistani members thinks that all the Chinese weapon inventory is theirs. They had Carrier killer DF-21 D, S400 Clone SAM, and J-20 as their.

The Air Marshall in the video speaks about maintaining a credible minimum deference, so is it the case that PAF themselves know that they cannot win a war against India at most they can hurt IAF bad but ultimately lose in case of an all out confrontation

I say the chance of J20 in PAF color may not as low as ppl think. In the past China was lagging behind in military technology, so we didn't want to provide our top equipments to the world market and let our foes know how backward chinese military was. But now as China catching up, the concern is fading, we don't fear to let the outside world know our real technology ability any more, so the military export policy may change, and the top equipment like J20 may be provided to the world market in future. BTW J20 is participating Zhuhai Air Show in next month, I'd see this as the beginning of the change.

indians reacted the same when we were in talks with China for Z-10 helicopters !!
China will bring the J-20 stealth fighter to Zhuhai for Airshow China in November
& the Chinese are expecting their J-20 to be operational beginning in 2018, perhaps even as early as 2017.

J-20 & J-31 in 10 years??????????......indians and others also said that the J-20 and J-31 would not make their test flights till after 2030. Chinese did it in 2011. We would have access to these weapons systems to protect key Chinese assets in CPEC :azn:

Boss,they dont have any audit in military,I have a Pakistani friend he use to boost me,we dont audit our any military branch like we have CAG. However whatever small information is during kargil war they have only few F-16 that where flying becoz of spares denial by US.That is the reason they never participate in kargil war,i have read in Kaisar taufail blog.
