NO!! So now, Pakistan is buying F-16's from the US, is buying Jets from China, is selling jets to Sri Lanka, is buying combat helicopters from the Russians, and you have many defense projects with Turkey...........guess what?

The civilian leaders who have the political and business savvy way to handling business (the car salesmen you call them), are ALREADY doing that. So right now, the MAIN issue is, how do the Pakistanis learn to respect the system and plan ONE country. Once that starts to happen, Pakistan has the potential to be buying stuff from any country she wants to. Just like India .

I agree with your comment about FC-20's purchase. It needed to be inked way the hell back when. But its not too late now either

realistic analysis ....i mean just look at the CPEC project ....things are always planned in "most profitable" order by the investor ...but here we see our great ..... useless ...drunk politicians threatening to hinder the project jst cuz thy or their BS advisers cant understand the project norms .... i couldn't stop thinking that did gawadar moved to Punjab due to some supernatural anomaly or CEPC can cross over KPK via some supa dupa bridge ......

Hi,

I was a little slow yesterday----. Okay---current govt has not done anything and neither does it have the ability to do anything constructive in the U S----.

The only thing that changed was the onslaught of ISIS-----that is the only reason that U S is talking to pakistan---otherwise it was done and dusted----.

MK...out of your personal bias (among many on here for reasons I very clearly understand), what is your source of your statements? My source is the US Dept. of the State!! There are many on here who hate the current government of Pakistan for reasons related to Mushy, being IK's Pashtun supporters or purely, anti-growth and peace in Pakistan. And these guys can write accusatory statement and miss-statements like kids talk about their favorite super hero's.

There are things that are better remaining in silence. Would you like for me to tell you what General RS told the US law makers with reference to Pakistan and India (if you didn't follow CPAN on it)? If I start writing that on here, I'll break many hearts who think Pakistani Army has supermen soldiers (irrespective of how the country is doing without $$$$$).

Let's not derail the thread, the Army love, or the Pashtun love are beyond being Pakistani and a nation for many. I am tired of these "personal opinions" as you can't win over a conspiracy theory, you can, however, win over factual debate!! Let's open up a new thread for discussion like that.

On the topic, the F-16's are being provided to Pakistan, on three commitments from NS and two from RS. I'll leave it at that.

Yes, some of the J-10B/C are equipped with Chinese WS-10A instead of AL-31. However due to the production rate of WS-10A (majority of WS-10A have been installed on the J-11 family, including J-11B, J-11D, J-16, J-15, etc) and the abundance of AL-31s already purchased from Russia, the majority of J-10B/C in mass production still retained AL-31.

Official Chinese engine design essay a few years ago states that “XX10A" (WS-10A) produce 10% higher thrust to weight ratio than the russian AL-31 and has superior performance but is less reliable. (Hence why more WS-10A has been used on twin-engine fighters til now).

MK, both you and I know your statement is flawed. I know a little bit more as I know what's cooking inside. Why do you think out of majority of the republicans, who've openly accused Pakistan of double play, etc.....only a couple came out with opposition to the 8 jet deal? Its because of the discussions NS had with them. For ONCE, you have a sales guy who can pitch to the US what the Indian's been pitching since 1995!! Go check out the assets profile of Mitt Romney, Bush and others. All you'll see if business. Hillary Clinton was making $ 600,000.00 per speech from Goldman Sachs.

What do this combo of politicians and billion dollar companies have in common with India outside of the Chinese factor? Tax breaks on investments in India, profits from a larger market, etc, etc. NS has done the SAME, he pitched what India can't, take all the profits offshore but remain business operations in Pakistan. This as an investor, has 0% liability on the investors side and their investments takes a huge profit and Pakistan benefits from creating millions of new jobs and all, while they bring the profits back intact!!!!

This is THE REAL issue behind the Indian pissiness on all these deals, the CPEC, 8 jets and all. They don't want Pakistani labor to compete with theirs as they'd lose dozen of billions every year and millions of jobs to cheaper Pakistani labor. As of this second, Lehman Brothers, Barclays, Goldman Sachs, Citi and JP Morgan, ALL are conducting assessments in terms of where, how and how much to invest in Pakistan. Which means, you won't have any opposition from the US once these investments go in (granted the democratic system continues to run).

So for you to say that the current government hasn't done anything, you live in a world that's very colorful to say the least. Far way from the reality.

Integrated with Jf17 ................... will be used when on Block 3 when HMCS will be available..............
You can't just shoot a missile................ firstly you have to integrate the weapon on platform through which it is meant to be fired.............
