What the **** does it matter if its Mutton , Beef or freaking dog ??!! It' utterly moronic to see people here arguing about the meat.. A innocent man was lynched for his identity as a Muslim and a young man is in critical condition.. Jeez people!!

And i think i have the right to comment on a country of my forefathers.

Not really. You are a Pakistani now. Be happy being one, and forget about India. Just like most of you keep lecturing us to have nothing to do with you, and to remember that we are separate and different. You have no rights in India. If you come to MY country, you will come as an honoured guest, but as nothing more. Certainly not as a co-parcener.

Sorry doc. Went over my head.

LOL.

Look at his signature. He calls little Doc 'Pappu'.

I think the mods should consider whether or not they wish to allow threads like this. Whenever someone tries to use such stray (real/concocted) incidents as a pretext for drawing some kind of moral equivalence about India and Pakistan, the Indian members on the forum have a strong urge to retaliate.

For every one such incidence that one witnesses in India, there are literally hundreds in Pakistan. Several members have been banned by the mods for loosing their cool and flooding the thread with statistics/references of Pakistan's atrocious record on Human rights/treatment of minorities. Is it fair to do this? Allow one-sided debates where anyone who tries to settle the issue in a fact-based manner is banned, thereby allowing liars and trolls to have a field day?

I agree with you to some extent. It is a bit gross to allow such broadcast accusations to be made, but it is for the members themselves to avoid posting such rubbish. Very little the mods can do except to chase a fast-disappearing car and bark angrily at the wheels.

On the other hand, and I know that this is difficult, there is no reason for Indian members to get so excited.

This reminds me that it is our national propensity to be offended very easily, at the drop of a hat. I think if everybody getting offended were to be slapped with a stiff fine or thrown into jail for a week, there would be a rapid cooling of the climate. That is for real life. On screen, every offended person should be thrown out for a couple of days till it gets understood, clearly understood, that getting offended and losing one's temper is not an option.

Rising Shining secular India...

Ummm.....hell, never mind.

Just to remind you - some other bozo might reverse the first three words, change the fourth, and come to some very interesting conclusions.

Disagree..This a forum for valid debate.. Subjects may not be in favour for one section or the other.. It' not a self glorification platform. Best counter argue within the subject matter with out resorting to diversion of the subject or dragging in irrevelent topics

There was this American Marine who found himself in an aisle seat, with two Arabs in the middle and the window seat respectively. A couple of hours into the flight, one of the Arabs tried to get out and get himself a Coke. The Marine waved him back to his seat, got up and went to the pantry, and came back to his seat, and handed over the Coke. He then found that someone had spat into one of his shoes, which he had taken off for in-flight comfort. He couldn't figure out what to do, and kept quiet. After some time, the other man tried to struggle past. Again, the Marine waved him back, and got him his Coke. To his mortification, someone had spat into the other shoe. He couldn't take it any more. "Look, why do we have to keep fighting? You spit in my shoes, I pee in your Coke....where's it going to stop? Why can't we just get along?"

What a shame even He didn't break any law, still got punishment from cruel and inhuman mob.

Yes thats what cruel and inhuman mobs do. Ever seen an album of black people strung up by white mobs in the States? Some of those pictures are still etched in my head permanently to this day.

What about inhuman mobs in Pakistan....are they worried about if their victims actually broke a law (like say blasphemy)?

And btw how does breaking a law somehow factor into this anyhow? If he had broken the law (and it was indeed beef from a cow/calf he slaughtered)...does that make what the mob did any better?

This is what i've een saying... Many of them cut Mutton and buffalo not cow... This RSS backed Mother fuckers should be punished.... F those India PDF members who are backing the RSS thugs blindly
"The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) has said that it should not be dragged into the Dadri lynching case and added that the people responsible for the crime should be punished."
In an interview to an English daily, RSS's All India Prachar Pramukh Manmohan Vaidya said that the incident could have happened because of fringe elements. He said it is an isolated incident and should be seen in isolation.
Vaidya said one should wait till a proper inquiry is conducted instead of levelling allegations.

A forensic test has proven that the meat that the Dadri lynch mob found in a Muslim man’s fridge last week was mutton not beef.

Muhammad Akhlaq was beaten to death last week over rumours that he butchered a cow and there was beef in his fridge. Akhlaq himself was beaten to death while his 22-year-old son was severely wounded.

On September 28, police had collected samples of the meat from Akhlaq’s house and sent it to a vet for preliminary testing. The test result found that the meat was mutton, according to the Times of India.

Following the preliminary testing, police sent the sample to a lab in Mathura for a conclusive test. That test also found that it was mutton, not beef, a top government official informed. Akhlaq’s family had insisted all along that there was no beef in the house.

Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, while visiting Akhlaq’s home last week criticised the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government for focusing on the forensic test instead of arresting the attackers.

However, a senior official in the government defended the action, saying, “Had we not sent the meat for a test, the opposition would have alleged that the UP government was hiding facts. Even though there is no mention of beef in the FIR, we had sent the meat for a test to clear the air.”

According to The Times of India, a brown calf had gone missing in the village a day before Eid. On the night of September 28, a child had seen Akhlaq walk out of his house with a plastic bag with something that looked like meat in it. Akhlaq had reportedly thrown this bag in front of an electric transformer near his house.

The boy had then informed a few people about this. Four youths, one of them the son of a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, gathered inside a temple and concluded that the meat in the bag must be that of the missing calf. They made the announcement over the loudspeaker which led to Akhlaq’s brutal death.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for religious harmony on Thursday, breaking a week-long silence after the mob killing of Akhlaq.

They will inevitably be dragged in as well....because there is something of a mob vigilantism going on in India media ever since Modi got to power.

Barely anyone can keep a cool, level head these days it seems in India. Sometimes I fear better quality education is not the only elixir needed for our great nation....there is something very reactionary and guttural present in Indians that still invoke unfettered tribalism.

A mob of 1000 guys and a priest on loudspeaker get swayed by two village drunks?

Please.
Yar... religion is making people too tin skinned these days... even the educated ones start behaving like nut jobs when it comes to religious believes... believe me ..I live 10 KM form the area this incident happened... and some of the maintenance staff in our residential complex come from that village.
