Russia will Offer Armata Tank to Egypt

The main producer of Russian armored vehicles “Uralvagonzavod” intends to demonstrate its latest T-14 “Armata” to foreign buyers. This was stated by Director General of Uralvagonzavod Oleg Siyenko the TV channel “Russia 24″. The exhibition of arms RAE-2015 to be held in Nizhny Tagil in September 2015 a new military vehicle show Egyptian military.

“We have invited the Egyptian side of the exhibition of weapons which will be held in September this year in order to show that this represents a machine” – said Siyenko.

According to the head “Uralvagonzavod” the company is exploring various options for export of cars experts believe that the “Almaty was” have export potential. However the priority date is the delivery of new tanks for the Russian Armed Forces.

At the same time Oleg Sienko noted that the export of “Almaty was” only makes sense if the delivery of large quantities of cars. “We calculate some serious steps. Do not just give one or ten units to understand look. If we will go with our traditional partners it is a game vdolguyu. The ability to export “Almaty was” only provides some large volumes of supply ” – he said.

Statement on possible deliveries of “Almaty was” to export and the invitation of the Egyptian delegation to the exhibition in Nizhny Tagil was made during a working visit to Cairo the delegation of Russian industrialists headed by Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. Egypt is now increasing volumes of military-technical cooperation with Russia.

The ground forces of the country are equipped with Soviet tanks obsolete models (T-55 and T-62) set by another in 1960-70 as well as the American M60A1 and A3 of the same age and more modern M1A1 Abrams who collect from Egypt American car kits. Among modern Russian-made machines Egypt has 34 tanks T-80U Omsk construction purchased in 1997.

The US will be happy that their $1.3 billion military funding to Egypt is well spend by Egyptians.

If Russia offered it to Egypt then India will buy it too. Russians economy is not strong enough for mass production of Armata chasis tanks and IFV for replacement of their old T80s/T90s along witH BMP series. They need buyers from other nations too to facilitate the program. may e they offer TOT, may be not......................

Why is there any particular clause of Egypt-US contract for M1 tank or any other reason ... ??

Military and economic aid of the US going to Russian pocket. I want to see this but this idea of Armata for Egypt will silently die off (unfortunately).

i will explain again as you probably have a problem to understand it , US Military aid to egypt is not delivered in Cash , the aid consists of arms and spare parts how this will be converted into money that will go into russian pocket !!

then the economic aid also we are not just taking it in cash as you expect , they come and make projects with their money and invest in egypt and it's most likely american firm , and what this even have to do with military cash that goes into the army deals

Go learn first about the American military aid to Egypt before talking, they take it as weapons and only American weapons, they don't take the cash and then buy, no, the US gives the money directly to their arms manufacturers to make the weapons that Egypt orders, typical Turkish ignorant dork, low IQ ! pathetic

You fail to understand that it is not military aid that US gives. :lol:

They are also giving economic aid. The US can also both cut the economic AND military aid. Anyway, some already bought the idea that Egypt will get the Armata. If you think that, more power to you. I hope Egypt will get it.
