Pakistan continues to face numerous challenges and obstacles in the form of terrorism. We are seeing various terrorist organizations throughout the country push their terrorist agenda forward by any means possible. To make matters worse, it has been reported that Daesh is also attempting to establish its foothold inside Pakistan. Furthermore, several Pakistan-based terror organizations have openly pledged their allegiance to Daesh. At the same time, Pakistani security forces are working night and day to counter the growing threat of terrorism. It goes without saying that the need of the hour is to stand united against these enemies of peace.

Please share your opinion in regards to what must be done collectively to negate the growing threat of terrorism.

The ISIS /Daesh is a clear and present danger to Pakistan's integrity. They have already established themselves in Southern Afghanistan and many factions of the TTP have joined them.

Considering this, I think the PA/ISI needs a paradigm shift in its anti India stance and deploys their 'strategic assets', the LeT/JeM etc to help the PA take on the ISIS/Daesh/TTP in the West instead of Pakistan using them against India which they have been doing for the past two and a half decades, but have come a cropper so far. The LeT/JeM will probably have better luck fighting the ISIS/Daesh/TTP.

And this graph is only till 2014. The situation has further improved if updated till 2015. As far as I know, the authorities are in increasingly firm grasp throughout the breadth of the country and is concentrating efforts to establish the writ of law nationally. Please provide any data from a study that backs your claims @CENTCOM

Lets ask the obvious question.Where was the US when Saudis were busy creating and funding the ISIS/Daesh monster? Sitting by the sidelines and hoping for Assad's demise? Has the US not learnt anything from its mistakes?

Thankfully, our establishment seems to have finally learnt an important lesson: Don't rely on pseudo-religious Salafi-inspired thugs to further geo-political agendas. Saudis need the Salafi establishment for political legitimacy. Pakistan and the US don't have that problem.

Speaking of pseudo-religious Salafi thugs, ISIS is Saudi's "gift" to the muslim world and the wider region. Why does'nt the US understand that by supporting the Salafi-led establishment in Saudi, it is allowing ISIS and affiliated militant proxies to grow and further the agenda of the global salafi jihadi movement? A network that now poses the biggest threat of the 21st century to the muslim and the western world.

Saudis have historically relied on their Wahabi/Salafi foot soldiers to achieve geo-political aims, reflected in the 200 year old alliance between the Wahabi/Salafi clergy and the Sauds. Until the vicious wahabi/salafi ideology and funding infrastructure in Saudi is dismantled, murderous proxies like ISIS will continue to be spawned. As always, the proxies have increasingly spun out of control and ISIS is simply the latest manifestation of chickens coming home to roost.

The US military is fighting ISIS and other Salafi militant groups around the world ranging from Somalia, Yemen, Libya, Iraq and Syria. Would'nt the US job be a lot easier if the Saudis were made to see the light, renounce the deviant wahabi ideology, and stop their funding of ISIS, TTP, Boko Haram and other proxies around the world. Of course given their symbiotic relationship with the Salafi establishment, it is not clear if Saudis will course correct voluntarily.

Don't fight the symptoms, treat the disease.

Was the APS massacre in 2014 or 2015?

Chacha Ali Khan, why are you spreading more fear and uncertainty than we already have? Did CENTCOM take away your chai breaks?

BS ... why did you created this thread ??? these topics are already discussed on this forum what is point of making new thread here ???
As individual members it may be hard to track existing threads so that is OK. The mods can merge them. In the end we do have a problem that our citizens are involved in supporting terrorist organizations which is bigger than an extra thread.
