Quran: The book for our Guidence!

Asalam-o-alikum,

I just wanted to open up the thread where we discuss about the Quran and Its quotations. I hope this thread will guide us all to correct Path of life.

Surah 2 Al Baqrah Ayah 2 "This is the Scripture whereof there is no doubt, a guidance unto those who ward off (evil)"

Surah 12 Ayah 2 "Lo! We have revealed it, a Lecture in Arabic, that ye may understand."


Surah 25 Al Furqan Ayah 1"Blessed is He Who hath revealed unto His slave the Criterion (of right and wrong), that he may be a warner to the people."


Surah 8 Anfaal Ayah 2"They only are the (true) believers whose hearts feel fear when Allah is mentioned, and when revelations of Allah are recited unto them they increase their faith, and who trust in their Lord"


Surah 54 Al Qamar Ayah 17"And in truth We have made the Qur'an easy to remember; but is there any that remembereth?"

I thought religious discussions were not allowed here? And if you are going to allow it, then allow it for every religion. Not just one.

Holy quran is not the book for only one Religion.

This is no discussion... he is only quoting from Quran... and those who lie against Islam have surely reason to worry!

Quranic Ayyats do not hurt any religion, they only talk about making peace and love and get rid of hate.

Why would talking peace be banned... any way its the message from the creator of this Universe.

سُوۡرَةُ لقمَان
وَلَا تُصَعِّرۡ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمۡشِ فِى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مَرَحًا‌ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخۡتَالٍ۬ فَخُورٍ۬ (١٨)

Turn not thy cheek in scorn toward folk, nor walk with pertness in the land. Lo! Allah loveth not each braggart boaster. (18)

Above ayyat shows, Allah hate those who hate human beings, even a little bit that they show it only with facial expressions !!!

I think we should make more of such threads in order to clear misconception regarding islam.
Some people are falling into the trap of those who uses religion as a tool to meet their evil goals. Those muslims who dont know much about islam or never have perceived quran thoroughly mostly becomes prey of those terrorists.
We just needs to expose them by spreading the teaching of islam not only here but also in our tv channels as well.
This will greatly going to abate the number of terrorists and their supporters in our country.

all sect. cheer leaders also hide Quran from their followers, and tell them about some self made and some UK made Islam.

However, to get to understand Quran correctly one need to learn Arabic or consult many translations and word by word translation as well.

I like to add, i came across some one telling, Quran should not be read until we become expert in Ahadith.
Be aware of such fitna people... their only objective is to spread falsification in the name of Islam.
whereas In Quran Allah have said... ´´I have made it easy for you to understand´´
In current time of fitna and turmoil, we should only hold on to Quran, and drop sects. which are made on basis of false history.
