I have no wind turbines nearby. They are installed in the sea hundreds of km away from land. Its called a windpark. Maybe thats a new concept for you but electicity can be send through cables

However, this RWE entity is working under the legislation of the UCTE (Union for Coordination of the Transmission of Energy) which is the responsible organization for the united Europe electricity network.
Even electricity retailers in Denmark which has the highest rate of Renewable penetration percentage in whole the world, are not capable to claim they are providing their consumers with pure green energy, let alone providers in Germany.

This green enegy thing is a hoax to get more money from consumers, you say you want green enegy and pay more because its officially ''green'' now but theres no guarantee if you enegy is coming from a thermal plant, it may work in future when green energy has more market share with affordable prices but not today.

That's true, and you mentioned a very important point, all the excess money you pay today is funded to make the smart grids for tomorrow, especially Europe is the leader in this concept.

One of those 50 year old airplanes can destroy dozens of hardened or soft military targets. One example is the destruction of military airfields (aircraft included). At the extreme one of those aircraft can destroy entire cities from thousands of km away.



As for your second point, it is utter none sense. When Russian bombers are intercepted it is because they are testing defenses and reaction times. There is usually no deviation from the flight path or airspeed during those interceptions. In other words those Russian bombers know that they are being intercepted and from where.


In a real conflict those bombers would have a much greater standoff distance as compared to training flights, or simply put they would launch their cruise missiles far from the target and then evade any aircraft that would be launched to intercept those bombers. Intercepting supersonic TU-160s would also be extremely difficult not only because of their speed but because of their range. If it turns into a chase the fighters would have to break off because of limited range. Just as bad, the fighters would have to get relatively close to fire their long range A2A missiles because of the speed and vector of the bombers.


This is why many people in Europe are panicking, while others like Merkel that dismiss the effectiveness of these bombers are out of touch with reality and how these bombers operate.

We are talking about russia here. A country that doesnt even have electricity for large parts of its population...and Europa...The Eu landed a spacecraft on Titan and on a comet next week.

The technological superiority of NATO is so overwhelming, that russia simply looks laughable.

Nobody in europe is panicking. Most articles show how laughable russia acts, with its old *** technology.

Beside that, Merkel has a phd in quantum physics. I guarantee you she has alot more knowledge about such things than farmer boy Putin, who has the intellectual capabilities of a hillbilly.

Whilst I agree its nothing new or crazy I dont think EU nations are flying planes and ships past Russian lands and basically waving at them, another glaring example of how when Russia does something its fine but if the west does it its evil and an act of war.

Its an almost WW2 ere bomber that would be destroyed over the sea before even seeing a land mass of their target destination though so its about as troublesome as well...a plane from 60 years ago.
