  • Thank you----and when you become a doctor----do make some money---but then do some work for free for the poor as well----. Good luck to you in your profession.
    Farhan,

How are you doing buddy? An english teacher---'hehn' I am honored. What made you think of that!!!!!
Yaar, a Lt having commission in 2008 gets a salary of around 20K with basic of Rs.11K, but in hard area / operational area it goes to 27/28K.

Lt Col with 20-22 years experience has a gross salary of around 55-60K.

So, thing is, the salary of 2 Lt Cols who got commissioned in different years would be different.

But, the above figure may give you a rough idea.

Similarly, the senior JCOs may be getting more salary when compared to a Lt or a young Captain, since they have more years of service under their belt.
that surely will change the weight but the overall hp per tonnage will surely be improved!
that is the reason of getting a more powerfull engine.
note that even the Ak-I engine, with the tank being most heavily weaponized in world, have enough miscel to take the tank to good speeds of 70-75 Km/Hr and a pretty descet accelaration as well!
actually the AK upgrade that is also called the AK-I is quite a lethal tank. considered the most heavily weponised tank per tonnage in whole world, it carries a lethal fire pucnh. good enough to beat anything. the tank ammunitaion is also tested to beat all know armours in worl. no untill and unless, Indians integrate some hard kill protection system, it seems that PA is happy with the AK-I.
moreover as per my info, the major changes in AK-II will be a more powerfull engine and some french electronic (better then the ones on AK-I)
    Hi friend, Eid Mubarik!
sorry dear, i was bus with some work and later my intenet server was down for 3 days so couldnt stay in touch.
as for the AK-II we have been talking about it in the forum. it is pretty much under development is the proces is way too slow. reason being the funding problem and also the PA satisfaction with Ak-I (the uppgrade of original AK). this have slowed down the process.

the idea seem to be that PA will wait before going all out for this effort until indians get something better to challenge AK-I
sorry for the late reply....just report the page with the situation and i think FB staff will do the rest
