Frontier Corps Balochistan (F.C Balochistan) Is a Paramilitary Force under the controll of Interior Ministry of Government of Pakistan.
Apart from its routine/Border guarding duties,Frontier Corps Balochistan is also employed on Internal Security duties in addition to provision of security to certain organisations and VVIPs. It is a highly professional force committed to maintain peace along borders as well as within the Balochistan. The achievements and contributions made by frontier Corps Balochistan in complex security situation of the country have been applauded by all segments of the society. For the purpose of Internal Security duties, close coordination is being maintained with ministry of Interior, GHQ, Home Department (Govt. of Balochistan) and local Police/Civil Administration for timely response so as to tackle any untoward incident efficiently within the province.
Frontier Corps Balochistan during recent years have made tremendous efforts to improve their professional standards despite various internal security and other commitments. This was made possible by clear directive, meticulous planning and focused mission oriented training by all ranks down the chain of Command. The challenges of obtaining environment are enormous and spectrum of threat continues to widen. Role of Frontier Corps Balochistan has enhanced from Border Guarding Force to a more professional outfit, expected to defend particular sectors as well as actively participate in what we call ‘Operations Other Than War’, peace keeping missions and disaster relief operations. This perspective presents a challenging scenario which must spur the best in everyone. Measuring up to the challenging task has always been the dominant creed of Frontier Corps Balochistan.
