How 90kN-Kaveri and 125kN-Kaveri Engine Projects will be Game Changer for India

Yawn...more BS from a country which reverse engineers everything from cars to turbofan engines (which apparently have hopeless MTBO & MTBF figures)

It's funny to see these petty thieves boasting about stolen IPs.

Tell me when the Kaveri starts flying on something other than a il 76 with 3 working engines or even a working assault rifle I think it'll be another 30 years

Yawn...it'll happen in 2016.

I hope Chinese petty thieves oops designers can come up with it's own turbofan design in 30 years.

It's your inferior complex that is haunting. France reinvests the wheel, and it's no more Kaveri.

Get out and don't show me your face. The Chinese logic has wanglakon limitations now

Looks like Indians are able to win American reassurances on Kabari engine.
Are those assurance limited to engine or beyond?

What worries you?

Such types boast and demean others efforts/collaborations (with no real understanding of what the issues concern) because they angry their results are pretty terrible given amount invested to bypass and shortcut fundamental research (esp systems level integration - stolen IPR and brute reverse engineering only gets so far in the highest paradigms of technology, as we have also seen in Chinese space rockets in the early 90s).

Lack of transparent auditing also means there is a buffer of ignorance they can thrive on esp for 99% of typical posters....its the nature of any forum.

But in the end anyone can see the constant buying of (inferior) Russian engines as stop gap measure to try bridge what must be some serious faults in their program....yet these hypocrites have audacity to throw stones at others from their glass house (that they try ever so hard to make opaque). Laughable.

:rofl::sarcastic: look it this your are not a first cow piss Asian country to produce indigenous high thrust engine

From your own first link lol:

That is to say, after nearly a quarter century development effort on a four decade old design, China remained unable to produce a viable high performance fighter engine.

Who are you batting for here? You do know what China has done import wise recently to make up for the WS-10 and other engines it has tried to "develop"?

So what? The are researching alone or with help of Russian, and you won't make your kaveri sh!t with a help of USA, Russia and now you're kissing Europe d!ck for kaveri, and for your information about WS-10 there are above 500 WS-10 different versions of J-10 and J-11:p:

whats relevant is that no engines can help an airforce infamous for plane crashes
Yes IAF is sure infamous for crashes but it would be unreasonable if no one looks at the reason behind it.
(i) IAF operates a large number of Russian aircraft and since the collapse of USSR the supply of reliable parts has been hampered.
(ii) Mig 21 which is backbone of IAF which is already obsolete needs to be kept in the service because IAF already is facing shortage of aircraft.
(iii) No New purchase has been made since Su30 since 1996-98 which has further put strain on old aircraft (21/27) which were slated for retirement.
(iv) Induction of new aircraft has been hampered due to the infamous Indian red tap-ism and IAF purchase policy.
(v) IAF also trains on high operational tempo for which the Russian equipment wasn't. This further puts strain on already low supplies for the aircraft.
(vi) Also responsible are world conflicts on which IAF has no control over. Prime example would be Ukraine-Russian conflict which affected the upgrade of An-32's.
(vii) HAL/OFB currently have no competition because of which they have a pretty laid back attitude towards production on supplies and weapons for the aircraft which needs to be looked into.

Same chest thumping before anything substantial is done...........
The whole approach is wrong.

Start making smaller components ,when that meets the global standards...move on to bigger things.
We follow a completely opposite approach due to fundamental weak manufacturing.

What worries you?

Transit aid to US still flowing through Pakistan.
Indian air / Air India still flying in Pakistan air space.
While Pakistani tax payers paying to make this happen.

just imagine how stupid, ignorant and inferior complex you are in order to be this deluded````a factor driven country cant even copy a reliable rifle yet keeps barking on a turbo fan engine. no wonder a joke country full of useless clowns``

Chinese slave, copying some old Russian tech does not give technology. Now design a motor bike in your country before cheerleading for China. Shame.
