What's new

Bhensa founder Waqas Goraya returns home

When did that happened?

Several times:

At the conquest of Makkah, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (p.u.h.) announced general amnesty to all except those who were guilty of blasphemous acts and sacrilegious statements. Both Nasai and Sunan Abu Daud, famous Hadith books, narrate that a slave Jew woman was killed by her master for her repeated blasphemy against the Prophet and when the case was brought to the Prophet’s notice he declared no retaliation against the master. (Hadith No.4348)

True. Agreed with the bold part.

And there is no bigger incitement against Muslims then blasphemy of Prophet Mohammad (SAW).

Blasphemy and hate speech itself is "Fasad fil Arz".
Well said bro.

Wow if we express our views on these bhensas then we are mullahs and when these idiots speak in the most appropriate language about our deen then that is their freedom of speech??

and BTW it is not Zia's law. It is passed by your DEMOCRATIC Assembly and part of your constitution. You like it or hate it the FACT is it is a law passed by the western styled democratic assembly of Pakistan not by mullahs.

Now since all these people have returned it is time they should be put to trial and all fair process be followed as you guys were talking about.

wasalam.

don't run. Tell me if a law is passed in a country by the democratically elected assembly and is part of the constitution (right or wrong that is another debate), that law is to be followed unless your incumbent assembly decides otherwise.

It actually is. You are limiting "fasad fil arz" to physical violence. Blasphemy itself is "fasad fil arz".

I am only quoting the Holy Quran ... The Holy Quran has clearly defined what is (or isn't) "Fasad Fil Arz" and has prescribed death penalty for those who commit "Fasad Fil Arz" ... Whereas for Blasphemy/Blasphemers, Allah has told us to ignore them, avoid them and leave it to Allah almighty to decide their fate ..

Even Pakistan Penal Code accepts the Quranic principle of "Fasad Fil Arz" ... 311 PPC ... Please read it to understand how blasphemy/hate speech is NOT "Fasad fil Arz":

You are interpreting Quran to what you believe to be. Holy Quran is pretty clear about people who wage war against Allah and His Prophet (SAW) and what we should do with them.

And if we go by sunnah of Prophet Mohammad(SAW). blasphemy is part of "waging war against Islam".

Thereupon the Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: Oh be witness, no retaliation is payable for her blood. We love to twist and misquote .

We are heading toward mob mentality .

Five Pakistani Muslims who burned a Christian couple to death in a kiln after falsely accusing them of setting fire to a Koran are sentenced to death

No,
Not Mob mentality, this is molvi mentality.

Looking at this thread, and the numerous blood thirsty posts, just goes on to show
that we are an emotional, backward, ignorant and illiterate nation.

Agreed about Quran.

It is not about PPC it is about Blasphemy law. The law passed by Pakistani parliament unanimously and till now no other parliament ever repealed it so according to constitution of Pakistan this law is followed.

If their is freedom of speech and mocking a religion isn't hate speech. Then there should be no 'hate speech' labelled as such. Every person has freedom to chose right and wrong, there is no incitement. If someone listens to a mullah's speech and does a terrorist attack, it was from his own choosing. Mullah only used his speech. Faith is mockable but men are not is the most stupid thing I have ever heard. It is a typical arguement of an athiest, yhose making such statements should acknowledge either they are Atheists and their opinion viewed as of an atheist.

Obviously.

If blasphemy is not "fasad fil arz" despite its ability to stir a major issue of law and order then someone exploding himself after listening to a mulah isn't "fasad fil arz". That mullah should be allowed to say whatever he wants to just like these blasphemers are demanded to be allowed to do whatever they want to on the name of free speech.

Not every Hadith is authentic i can not believe that a Man who came with the message of peace will allow a murderer to go scot free. Isn't this hadith is contradictory to Quran and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?
