Turkey’s constitutional changes? They're a threat to our democracy

Let me rephrase so it resembles the truth.

With constitutional changes Turkiye will become unstoppable, further ridding itself from Western corporate chains attached to the country since its birth in 1923. Thus, the West, with its immense corporate interest in undermining Turkey's potential, will do whatever in its power to distort the reality and play on the note that "works": deligimitize Turkish political process and democracy by attempting to demonize the elected government and leader.

However, their attempt are to no avail. Industry has at long last taken off, our dependency on western markets are rapidly diminishing. We have realized our capacity to work with China, Russia, South Korea and more. I can easily provide data to support this arguement. Simply analyze Turkish total export/import value and destinations you will realize markets in Asia are leading today compared to just 4-5 years ago

Lool Really ?
Awwww.....Poor Turkey , seems the whole western world is jealous of Erdogan's(Turkey's) "success" and wants it's downfall. :(
Wonder why Turkey doesnt turn towards Russia,China, Asia and dump relations with evil NATO's E.U/U.S . :chilli:lol

Finally, I'm not an American woman. How delusional can you get? And why are you even fascinated with me in the first place? Are we supposed to get married or something?
Lol Sorry to jump in, but you are half Arabic half British if I remember correctly right ?:man_in_love:

Because, whatever some fanboys say,my country depends on the west for the major part of its economy and defence capabilities.
We dont sell anything to China/Korea/Japan and other Asian countries,we only buy from them or at least imports exceed exports to those countries,by a huge margin.
Try explaining that to these fanboys.
But you are still evil.

Here is a video of a bunch of Erdogan fanboys destroying those evil Western corporate chains and their currency... Obama and the whole Western world must be terrified while watching it! At the same time the Turkish Lira lost more of it's value but it's okay we are the strongest.

ps Sometimes I am asking myself how some people in Turkey can be soo blind and delusional but you see it even in this thread... It's not even worth it to waste your words to prove them wrong because they can't understand it anyway. They live in their own dream world where Erdogan is the best politician in history and Turkey is a world power everyone is afraid of- if not today, then in 2023. :cheesy:

Traitors may think they deserve an answer, but your credit is due. Keep writing unintelligibly while accusing people. That's perfectly oxymoronic, something to be expected from simple minds

Lol whats wrong with most of you people on here ?
You people keep calling the beautiful lady @Kuwaiti Girl names, just because she has a different view(she French presents them with links/facts/data etc unlike most people) compared to yours. I have seen people here calling her a biased westerner, atheists Kurd, overseas Indian, Iranian, Arab etc etc, all these because she often different views on many topics ranging to her posts being unfavourable towards Iranian to those being unfavourable towards Turks/gulf states/Egypt etc. She has criticise (I'm a witness to this) almost all of the countries in the region for their inadequate political/judicial and social reforms and broken system from Iran to KSA, to Bahrain to Turkey to Egypt etc. So I dont understand why people keep calling her names.
If anything I will say she is one of the few member from the Middle East/Muslim world on here who is kind of neutral and less biased. He doesn't hold one single favourable conventional opinion on a particular country unlike most members here . I appreciate and admire that about her:)

Nope, the whole western world is not jealous of Turkey and wants its downfall. However, some Western country politicians, leaders and agencies are not content with Turkey agressively pursuing domestic and foreign policy that's not in line with their worldview, in other words, not being the lapdog of the US hurts them.

Wonder why Turkey doesnt turn towards Russia, China and Asia and dump relations with the West? Are you sure that's not happening currently?

And dont put words into my mouth, i haven't called her names, saying you are from the US is not namecalling. I presumed she is from the US, a mistake i admit.
The problem is the articles she provides are all highly biased and most of them are not based on fact. These articles are all purely subjective and agenda driven. (she has provided dusins of PKK articles as example) If you truly want to make a point, you simply provide the hard data and facts, then you can accuse of the things she accuses Turkey of

What I do not understand is what foreigners afraid of ? If we Turks vote for it it will be, that's all our choice. If we vote for dictatorship then it will be so. Why the hell you are all whining- that's our country :D

So your own country men who don't share your views of Erdogan are traitors huh? Lol
How did you come to this conclusion? No, the traitor/s are those who support an unlawful coup against our elected government and parliament. This is not something to be taken lightly

Cheers, Mike. :-)

And yes, I've been accused of being an overseas anti-Muslim Indian/Hindu nationalist living in the Gulf, an anti-Turkish Marxist-Leninist Kurdish separatist living in exile, an anti-Sunni pro-mullah crypto-Shia Muslim from Iran, an anti-Arab pro-Shah Zoroastrian Persian nationalist, an atheist third-wave feminist working for Mossad and the CIA, an anti-Palestinian and anti-Shia Jewish Zionist shill from Israel, and a White American expat living in Kuwait who happens to run a personal blog.

Well, on the bright side, at least I was never accused of being a Wahhabi lol. I'm proud to say that I'm deeply hated by the mullah-loving Khomeinists, racist pan-Arabists, pan-Turkist chauvinists, radical Sunni extremists, radical Shia extremists, Erdoganists, neo-Ottomanists, Muslim Brotherhood Islamists, Salafists, and misogynists.

That's what happens when people in this miserable part of the world (i.e. the Middle East) try to be neutral and critical of all sides. In a way, I've set myself up for these kinds of libelous personal attacks by refusing to sing the praises of those who deserve contempt. Silly me, I should have known better.

If you don't want to vote in favor of Erdogan and if you hate the Kemalists like I do you have just on option left: stay at home.

We saw your pictures, we read your blog, I know you from at least two other international forums. Don't try to hide your identity. But I guess, you're living in America again. If I remember correctly, your field of study involved something linguistic. Was it English or Literature?
