What's new

Achakzai seeks new Afghania province from Afghan border to Attock, Mianwali

And the same people have demanded that the name of Afghanistan be changed to Khorasan. :partay: :partay:
Nothing wrong with that demand. Afghans (i.e Pashtuns) have imposed their identity on Tajiks and others while historically word Afghanistan has been used only for Pashtun belt that is Pakhtunkhwa or Roh.....

Tajiks are the closest people to Pashtuns in South-Central Asia, not only they are racially overlapped but historically they have depended on each other. Tajiks and Pashtuns are the oldest inhabitants of Afghanistan and have been in co-existence since ancient times. Many Tajiks have Pashtun roots while many Pashtun speakers are in fact Tajiks by roots. The Gibari and Dihgaan Tajiks of Swat, Bajaur, Kunar and Nangarhar speak Pashto and are assimilated into Pashtun society. The Burkis of Waziristan and Afghanistan, who have produced figures like Pir Roshan, Jalala etc, are Tajiks by origins. The powerful Farmuli nobles of Lodi empire , who were/are from Farmul region of Ghazni and styled themselves Afghans/Pashtuns, are actually Tajiks. Most importantly Ghilzais and related tribes claim to be descendants of a Tajik prince Shah Hussain Ghori.

I didn't say this why you quoted me :-)

Mention of Abgan name in Sassanian inscription is a fact, but the rest is not established fact, just opinion of Iranica.

This is your personal opinion, not a fact.

Afghan is not alien word like Pathan, its part of our language , literature and history

Again, Afghan, a word with Persian origins, is a symbol of cultural imperialism. Simply because the previous generations were labelled Indian, Afghan, Nigga, etc. doesn't mean the shame should be carried by successive generations. The appropriate word is Pakhtun. Ergo, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Irrelevant.

A word rejected by the citizens of its own country should not be graced in Pakistan.

A mamlikat by name of Afghanistan existed in 13th century and its capital was Mastung which is a district of modern days Pakistan.

You were saying that a word like Afghanistan should not grace Pakistan......i reminded you that this word has already graced the soil of present-day Pakistan a very long time ago

Awghan is not Iranian/Persian word ........its Pathan word which is alien and derogatory

Unable to accept reality, i.e., the word Afghan has Persian origins, you're now stuck in denialism. The repercussion is neither you, nor Achakzai, have a valid argument. Let me know when you have an actual counterargument other than advocating for cultural imperialism simply because you feel comforted that way.

We need to kill him in a cave too like Bugti. Can't find a bigger cave than his :D

Whats to argue? Pashtun = Afghan is a fact. Its you who is in denial even though facts and historical evidences have been presented to you. Reconcile yourself to the facts, "Gul Khana"

You can add Dardic population as well, which may well have resided in eastern afghanistan well before pashtun or tajik.
