Turkey launches national satellite

That guy from India explained it well: everybody have to start from somewhere to achieve the things he wants.

We shouldn't forget that Turkey started looking above not too long ago. We lack the know how and the experience of building a satelite and launching it into space on our own so every small step can be of great importance for us to go forward in the future. For now we are doing it with some foreign help but ambitions are to do it on our own in the comming years. I hope that more and more people in Turkey will realize that great nations achieve great things and have great goals in front of them. But great things are made with science, knowledge and hard work.

Which parts of the Göktürk-1 satellite made by France?
Telespazio
Thales Alenia Space

just tell us which part of sat you made by yorusefl?

yes u can launch your own satellite . but Turkey will not launch on its own . it does not mean that Turkey lacks that capability .They can build their own SLV if turks want . Sending a satellite in space means that u can nuke any place in the world ( though Turkey does not has nukes ). Thus Turkey will be sanctioned just like Iran from West . I think u want to compare your country with Turkey. Turkey is miles and decades ahead of India in defence , Living standards , per capital income , health facilities and education . u can only dream of to become what Turkey is today . deal with that .

Yes sure ...... only because of Nato you get access of technology / parts .. nothing as such

Don't bring china in, your Indians are known as shameless boasters, a superpower by 2012 kind of bullshit.

we never looking down upon other country's efforts, but only laugh at your guys shameless boasting stuff on paper and compare to us
cmon forget those days when your rockets fall here and their , then US company told you how to put rivets the rockets...

On one hand serious answer should be given to shut trolls up, but knowing of the endless filth running around here, it's just not worth the effort. I just strongly feel for our Pakistani bros who need to deal with this kind on a daily basis.

This is a very advanced satellite if I'm not wrong because of the optics which is 0.7m or something like that if I remember correctly. Does India have a satellite built indigenously with those specs that they are talking? Or just like how every single product they have is filled with foreign sub systems, I'm sure their satellites are foreign too.

India makes a destroyer/frigate 90% subsystem Russian or Israeli, buy a Russian jet fill with French and Israeli parts, make a tank that took 50 years and most subsystem is foreign. This satellite has tusas and ASELSAN input too, though not too much around 20%. I'm sure the next satellite we make with similar specs will have over 50% national input.
