Zaid Hamid's Survival tutorials - going to the firing range...

Don't mind the 'tutorials' since he is raising awareness about safety and proper handling of weapons which is a good thing.

Not sure I need "survival" tips.

You talk about AK . I m armed with much more powerful weapons then AK in Pakistan. And i think it is good for self defence.

And we require police because there are crazy people which only the finest can take care of. The prime example is USA. There also every civilian is armed to teeth . But they still need police to control the nutjobs.
If you are in competition with America then who am I to utter anything between two of you. :azn:

But do tell me whether there are any other habits where you are in direct competition with uncle Sam ? :P

am happy atleast he teaching survival prepper, no one else and media too busy playing games.

Survival against whom? Crazed constables or trigger happy troopers? Would any terrorist be stopped by amateurs with Kalashnikovs?

That is the case , you wont find many amateurs in Pakistan .. almost 60% of Pakistani Population is associated with Tribes and tribal culture .. they are not just heavily armed but they know more than how to shoot like Russian Troops shown in Call of Duty game ..
in Operations against TTP , Armed Lashkers were made to defend the valley's and villages ..

erm how bout crazy country called india.

Sure. Why not? You might as well include an attack by bloodthirsty echidnae while you are at it.

None of your business.

It's very much my business, when a well-known war-monger starts giving weapons training to the ordinary citizen of a neighbouring country.

ehm ehm forgot tribals fighting in Kashmir
even UN had to specifically ask for their withdrawal
ak-47 is worth firing you should try it too sometime

You seem to have a bad cough. Remember to go and see a doctor sometime soon.

As for the tribals fighting in Kashmir, they looted, raped and murdered. You must know, since you seem so knowledgeable, which of these required expertise with an AK-47; since they were in any case carrying Pakistan Army .303 rifles, the matter is moot.

Then they swept up in a triumphal mob to Srinagar, after having demolished a couple of platoons on the way. They were stopped by a battalion of regulars, and pushed back by a brigade. They were then beaten back to beyond Poonch, the original seat of the uprising, and until the authorities who had motivated, recruited and armed them from among the ranks of demobilised troopers of the British Indian Army recently engaged in WWII, feared the fall of Muzaffarabad. That is where matters stood when a reference was made, by India, to the UN.

Were you perhaps under the impression that they were irresistible, and it was UN intervention that secured their withdrawal?

Interesting. Intelligent use of armed auxiliaries by the operations commanders. The only one of four replies I got which makes sense.

those Tribal's were Oppressed by Taliban by their brutal ways of assassinating people in public places , and people still fear for their women and children but once their towns were secured by Army, they got their Chance to take revenge from TTP and their supporters ..i am not in Favor of having the huge Armed Civilians but its sort of a Blessing and Curse in Disguise for Pakistan .. if we take Tribes of KPK , FATA and Baluchistan , Sindh it will be around 3-4 Million Armed Civilians ready to fight if they'd ask to .. not to mentioned if " Jihad " been declared by the Army or State of Pakistan , add some more into the standing Tribals force as they will than see it a Holy War ..

Mentioning destruction by Tribals without mentioning destruction by Indian Occupying forces is not the right way to prove your point
