What's new

India wins the PR war in Afghanistan, guess why?

Don't get sentimental with me. You burn our flag, throw stones at our gate, massacre our children in terror attacks, shell our land and multiply in the millions. You crap at the same place you are provided refuge. Don't lecture me about The Netherlands. I don't burn the Dutch flag or claim an entire city where I live as Pakistani territory. I pay my taxes, don't kill people or indulge in criminality. People like you would be kicked out from any country let alone Pakistan. Good riddance I say.

I hope we keep the border closed indefinitely and kick all Afghans out of Pakistan. You aren't welcome in our land. Go to India. The country that you love so much. Stop coming here.

Agreed. Let the Afghans make half a trip around the world for a needle. They can get their imports from Chabahar. That will team them.
Oh Dutch? Nice to meet you. Land of Theo van Gogh. :)

Yeah, the Afghans have no choice. There can be sanctions against Pakistan if the Afghans take this up to Court. But then these are your internal affairs. Do what suits you.

Denial of rights of a landlocked country. Trump would say "Sad! Sad! Sad!"
Afghanistan uses our dey ports and sea ports for free... The only issue is that no indian trucks are allowed to cross the border to Afghanistan.. Pakistani trucks take afghan and Indian cargo to the respective borders ..

Ditto, Afghan nationalists seem to be under some delusion that without them we cannot survive. Sure it would be better if ties between us and Afghanistan were good but since that is not the case, life goes on. We have other countries we can trade with and most importantly a coastline opening us to the whole world. Sooner or later we will find other markets to export the goods we are currently exporting to Afghanistan.
Indians and also recently some Afghan nationalists brag about how they have managed to isolate Pakistan, but have they? In the past year or two, China, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Tajikistan, (Turkey soon again) to mention some have all sent their head of states to Islamabad to increase ties. So once again it would be better if ties with Kabul improve, but they should also know that we will survive just fine without them. What they do now, who they trade with etc is up to them. I don't think our establishment cares anymore. They just want to control the flow of drugs and terrorists from Afghanistan into Pakistan.

The level of hypocrisy and stupidity in some posts is beyond stupid :D

Its our generosity that we allow tax free trade to Afghanistan. If Afghanistan wants to go to court they should be ready to pay trade tariffs.

Borders will re open eventually but Afghans should learn to respect their neighbors and apologize for the flag burning. Peace andgood relations is in both Pak and Afghan interests. Lets just respect each other

Afghanistan's only leverage on Pakistan was to keep militancy movement on Pakistan's western border in control. With the Army now have cleared and secured those borders properly through success of Zarb e Azb. Its gone now.

It is funny how a landlocked and opium infested country like Afghanistan is trying to flex muscles. LOL Pakistan won't be affected one bit. It is the other way round. Afghans rely on Pakistan for almost everything. They can't even treat their wounded soldiers in their hospitals and have to visit Pakistani hospitals. We all know who really is pulling the strings behind the scenes, but they can all go to hell as far as we are concerned. We need to stand firm this time and not open the border.

You are right on the money regarding the coastline opening up. No wonder why the ill wishers are so worried and terrified at the prospects. Pakistan has its stuff sorted out with CPEC, but we won't brag about it.

These Afghans are truly high on opium. LOL Afghanistan has isolated Pakistan. What a joke. Now watch how they come to their senses when we keep the border closed for a few more days. We know how it ends. They come crawling back at the table for talks.

Pakistan should not blockade a country for a protest. It is unfair. But it's your country. You decide.

To continue our trade, I hope we will be able to rush the port at Chahbahar.

Thank you for confirming my position on what's wrong with our relationship, this is exactly the same mindset that won't win any friends on both sides of the border,

How is Netherlands? bet it's nice being far far away from the daily suffering both normal Pakistanis and Afghans ;)

Are you one of those afghans who blindly follow what your media tells you?. Your media says KPK wants to join Afghanistan .

We are an emerging economic power. NASDAQ celebrated Pakistan day recently and had a Pakistan Flag in times square. Do you know what that means? It means you are the next big thing .

As for sufferings your dear friend India has more poverty than Pakistan .

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...els-higher-than-Pakistans-says-UN-report.html

Sanitation , Gender gap , Housing conditions , access to electricity in Pakistan are much better than India. Since India is your friend you dont want to hear them being behind or having more poverty than us. They will remain ' shining India ' to you as far they keep on helping you . As for poverty in Afghanistsn I bet its somewhere near like 70 % of the population. So no one from Pakistan is suffering it's just you and India .

Like always you avoid facts and figures regarding Pakistan be it scientific output , university rankings , poverty etc etc so i would let you be happy in your own world. ;)

Basically the old Pakistan has gone

The old Pakistan was sentimental and even went against its own interests in the name of sentiment

So we blindly helped Afghans or arabs without leveraging or asking for anything major in return just for example

Those times have gone and a more aggressive, assertive and patriotic Pakistan is emerging who has self interest as a guiding principal

If Afghanistan wants to act like a enemy then it and all its namak haram people should be treated like enemies

India is our dushman unless you can side with us against this dushman then dont expect help from us on any front and you better bring something else to the table to stop us being openly hostile to you

I dont like Afghans i want them out of our country, they can be prostitutes in india I dont care, just go

Don't understand why Pakistan resorts to such shenanigans and just for their ego.
This will further antagonize Afghanistan.
Hope Chahbahar becomes operational and evolves into a deep sea port so we can finally be rid of bullies and idiots.

Afghanistan should take this matter to UN.
Like you took the address of Dawood Ibrahim :-). And for what matter ? that 10 out of 1 gate is closed because we through stones and break glasses at that gate.

Denial of rights of a landlocked country. Trump would say "Sad! Sad! Sad!"
How come it is denial of rights ?Not a single clause of The rights of Landlocked country stated in International law has been broken .

This is fantastic. India must continue with this support to Afghanistan and provide air cargo service for ALL types of cargo which was being transported previously through Pakistan to India.

Nothing hits a baniya like a hit on it's pocket !!!
