Russia and Pakistan Hold High level Meeting

Now I even doubt Mi35 helicopter deal ever got materialized with them. Pak Army failed to materlized Mi35 deal with Russia and here we are still dreaming of Su35s for our Airforce who doesnt see anything other than F16. So apart from RD93 engine, there won't be any thing coming from Russia. Our best options are China and Turkey now as Pak US defense deals are fading away very quickly. Good thing is that, China is quickly becoming a technological hub and their weapon systems are almost at par of Russians.

China is quickly becoming a technological hub

China has already become what it was capable to become. Now process is started to go in reverse, as west world withdrawing their industry from China by creating fully automated factories(adidas, tesla) which does not need cheap human labor - the one China was providing for the west and by this mean was "becoming a technological hub".

Dude what are you shitting. China is sending satellites into space now. They already got the required technology just in process of mastering it further.

Not a big deal. We(Ukraine) also doing this, and Pakistan also, (google "Nations with Satellite Technology"). Its 2016 today, every more-or-less developed country is sending satellites into space now. Thats does not mean, that every more-or-less developed country is "a technological hub"

C'mon...U can't just write China off in that way....Chinese can't be underestimated. They have done miracles and they won't go down as some people in US or neocons think or like Gordan Chang wishes....

By the way, welcome to forum...We Pakistanis respect Ukraine. U helped us in Tanks...Thanks 4 that....:-)

No, that's totally wrong approach. We want great relations but not submission of our sovereignty. If we are freeing our country from the claws of one set of powers, why should we surrender to another be Russia or China...Why can't we even think of independent relations based on mutual well being, coexistence and respect.

That's not true. If India was so important for Russia today, no such visit would have even be possible. Russia is a power despite the fact they have a bit of economic depression but it is Russia that has India by balls and not the other way round.
Pakistan took a long time in talking the step but it took and Russia welcomed it.
I understand where you are coming from. I mean let Russia use Pakistan's territory for a specified time period for her strategic interests and Pakistans. I do not mean let them build a permanent sovereign base.

This will draw Russia much closer to Pakistan if Pakistan offered her something like this, no?

Google recent story about Iran making this mistake. Heres short quote

But Iran’s minister of defense, Brig. Gen. Hossein Dehghan, accused Russia of having publicized the deal excessively, calling the Kremlin’s behavior a “betrayal of trust” and “ungentlemanly.” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Ghasemi, told reporters in Tehran that the permission had been temporary and “it is finished, for now.”.
“The Russians went public with this without assuring adequate sensitivities to Iran’s internal dynamics, in order to perhaps score a point and boost their prestige,” Mr. Behrooz said. “If the Russians hadn’t exposed this, no problem would have arisen.”

Do you live in mainland Ukraine? After Crimea joining Russia, Relations b/w Ukraine and Russia are bitter till today...Do you guys want to have good relations with Russians again? What is the thinking in Kiev?

In my opinion, Ukraine got crushed under proxy war of US and Russia.....

Do you live in mainland Ukraine?
yes
After Crimea joining Russia

It was not joining. It was annexation. Not a single civilized county in world recognized the so called "referendum to join russia" as legitimate.

Do you guys want to have good relations with Russians again?
No. Simply there is nothing to have good relations with. Russia will fell apart just like Soviet Union did. Russia is not unitary country, its just last remaining fragment of Soviet Union that was still holding in one piece only thanks to high oil prices. Its current regime is based on freedom restrictiveness for there people. Modern economic cant work without freedom for private business, and russian government restricts private business in every way. Russain economic always falling, and in previous years it was saved only by high oil prices. Now high oil prices is over, so the Russia is over. Just like Venezuela. Its just Russia is bigger than Venezuela, so it has bigger inertia, but falling is inevitable. Unless oil prices raise again, which is not going to happen.

I respect your opinion but disagrees....With China on its side and now Turkey, Germans also seems quite concerned on NATO policies towards Russia.....They are not in that bad shape now as far as geopolitics is concerned...

I don't think I have read somewhere so far that Russia is going to collapse......

China on its side
It does not. China's politic on Russia is pretty agressive. They forced Russia to have a number of very unprofitable for Russia(and very profitable for China) deals. Russia is simply paying China big money to make look like they are friends.
and now Turkey
Turkey in difficult position now, it trying to achieve balance between West and Russia. Now Turkey just gone from directly hostile to Russia to just neutral, and that is as far as Russia-Turkey relation can go, unless Turkey want to make USA very upset.
Germans also seems quite concerned
Germans is simply afraid of Russia. This is very different from "being on its side", and pretty much quite opposite.

I don't think I have read somewhere so far that Russia is going to collapse

You dont know russia's "inner kitchen", you dont know their language, dont read and watch what russian people think and say.. and so on. But we do.
Soviet Union also no one expected to collapse.
Russia's economics is based only on raw resource export. And Russia's inner politics and goverment power is based only on suppression freedom, which only possible if Moscow has big money. And Moscow loosing big money now, as long as oil prices is low, its only matter of time until Moscow deplete all its reserves and will not be able to suppress its own people anymore.

So then perhaps Pakistan should keep this quiet and so should the Russians if this comes to pass?

By the way what matters is not what civilized countries think but what the people of Crimea think. Do not forget it was a response to a foreign succored illegal coup.

If you read the Chinese history, they've never been the aggressors. Rather, they maintain a bigger defensive posture. Its India who wants to be a "Super Power" and has sold the West that it would tackle the Islamic countries and China.

Sadly, the West has bought into it primarily due to the size of India and 1.2 billion people and trade aspects. Indian lobbyists have done a great job in paying everyone very well also to silence the opposition. US labor market is a witness to this, has anyone asked, why are there millions of Indians coming every year? Where is the American labor? No, no one's asked that question because the one's should be asking, got paid big $$$$ to stay silent and instead, complain about Mexicans, the Chinese, etc.

So just like this, India is too busy milking the West and showing "opposition" to China and Pakistan. While knowing VERY WELL, her future is linked directly with China. And strategists in the US (majority being paid by the Indian lobby) ignore this aspect.

But sooner or later, India will join the CPEC. Its her need more than China or Pakistan's. No Western country can help the Indian lower middle class and the small businesses grow faster than being a part of the Chinese, Pakistani, Russian, Irani, Turkish and Central Russian market!!

You still miss the point. India would be happy to join but Pakistan and China would not allow India in.

this game is gonna interested now

According to the prophecy, both Pakistan and Russia will be fighting together against the enemy in the future. I cannot believe this prophecy is getting closer. :D

You still miss the point. India would be happy to join but Pakistan and China would not allow India in.

I think it is too late. Pakistan gave the chance, but India's arrogant has sealed its own fate. India actually thought they would succeed breaking Pakistan apart. Now that their plans backfired, payback is in order. I don't wanna know what lies ahead given the fact we live in Nuclear world.

China + Russia + Pakistan = CPEC
New great game started...this is the repeat of 1970s.

Add Iran, Turkey to ME and Afghanistan to the Central Asia for the future.

Afghanistan may hate Pakistan but not enough to miss out amazing opportunity from CPEC that expands the international borderline. :D
