Kashmir all-party meet: Modi discusses atrocities in Azad Kashmir, Balochistan

@Joe Shearer this viper character, had come across his charade in the windy's foxbat thread. Was interested in giving him a whupping then also, but desisted as too many trolls and wannabes distract. There he was posing as an expert on combat flying and F-16s and Mig-25s.

Just a farce. His 40 years in 'international politics' is like my two decades in fugure skating .... I read about it but can't do it myself .. lol.

What a fake

And they don't even realise how transparently they give themselves away. :pop:

I see a massive change in India's policy for P0K and Baluchistan. Correct me if I am wrong but this is the first time an Indian Prime Minister has spoken on Baluchistan and Pakistan's occupied territory.
Way to go Mr. Prime Minister.
Pakistan has started to unravel. Baluchistan is the next Bangladesh! And Doval will ensure that happens sooner than later. Even the US is in the mix. Check this out....

US Congressman Rohrabacher demands referendum in Balochistan

The Congressman requested a referendum to be held in Balochistan on the question of independence, which would challenge the claims by Islamabad that the Baloch want to be part of Pakistan.

"First and foremost, we have to quit giving any military aid, and I would suggest we should quit giving any aid, to Pakistan who then uses our aid to murder and suppress people like the Baloch people, who are longing to have basic freedoms.

"We have to make sure that the evidence of this is clear to everybody and that the monstrous violence that is being laid upon the people of Balochistan is horrendous, he said.

That said here's how Pakistan grabbed Balochistan by force. Check out the link below....

On March 26, 1948, the Pakistan Army was ordered to move into the Baloch coastal region of Pasni, Jiwani and Turbat. This was the first act of aggression prior to the march on Kalat by a Pakistani military detachment on April 1, 1948. Kalat capitulated on March 27 after the army moved into the coastal region and it was announced in Karachi that the Khan of Kalat has agreed to merge his state with Pakistan. Jinnah accepted this accession under the gun.

It should be noted that the Balochistan Assembly had already rejected any suggestion of forfeiting the independence of Balochistan on any pretext. So even the signature of the Khan of Kalat taken under the barrel of the gun, was not viable, because the parliament had rejected the accession and the accession was never mandated by the British Empire either, who had given Balochistan under Kalat independence before India.

The true history of Balochistan is never shared or talked about among the general public of Pakistan. Our textbooks and other publications narrate a rhetoric which is far from the truth, and which has made the general public believe in a lie. It is the responsibility of the intellectuals, the teachers and the professors to learn and reveal the real facts according to non-tempered historical documents.

In a nutshell, Balochistan officially is an independent nation NOT part of Pakistan as the Balochistan Parliament had rejected the accession to Pakistan.

I fail to understand why the Balochis don't take up the issue with the United Nations? Here's where India can help.

The time has come to expose Pakistan’s brutalities on the people of Balochistan and Pak-occupied Kashmir (Azad Kashmir), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday as the government launched a fresh offensive against Islamabad for fuelling the latest unrest in Kashmir.

The government found support from all major parties at a meeting called to discuss the violence in Kashmir that has left at least 59 people dead, most of them civilians, in the valley since July 9.

Modi said the government will reach out to the alley but added that Jammu, Ladakh and Azad Kashmir should also be said in the same breath when talking about Kashmir, endorsing the views of Congress leader Karan Singh.

All parties unequivocally supported the government’s decision to aggressively expose Pakistan in international forums.

Modi and foreign minister Sushma Swaraj said the government will also get in touch with people who have fled Azad Kashmir.

“Pakistan has forgotten that it bombards its own citizens from fighter planes. Time has come for Pakistan to give answer before the world on the atrocities committed against people in Balochistan and Pak-occupied Kashmir,” the PM said.

The government said an all-party delegation to the valley may be considered after the situation normalises.

“Political outreach is already happening. There will be no lowering of guard as far as security is concerned. Forces will act with restraint but terrorism and violence will be dealt with. We will try and ensure normalcy returns as fast as possible,” finance minister Arun Jaitley said after the meeting.

During the consultations, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said the Centre “must do everything to defuse the present tension and it should also be seen as a caring government.”

Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad talked about the “brain drain” in Kashmir since 1990. “Not only Kashmiri Pandits left, but Muslim intelligentsia also fled, leaving a vaccum,” he said.

Trinamool’s Sudip Bandopadhyay felt that Kashmiri youth are in search of a new leadership.

BJD’s Lok Sabha leader Bhartuhari Mahtab said that political leadership should be more active and local parties should speak in one voice. Samajwadi Party leader Ramgopal Yadav also demanded a common voice in all parties and said, “China is actually the main culprit.”

JD(U)’s Sharad yadav insisted that the government should talk to Kashmiri youth as “they are our children” and sought a ban on use of pellet guns by security forces, blamed for eye injuries to a large number of people including minors.

The Shiv Sena, however, favoured continuation of pellet guns.

CPI(M) chief Sitaram Yechury said a National Human Rights Commission team should go to Kashmir.

“Mr. Prime Minister, you have a hotline with the Pakistan PM. Why don’t you talk to him on this issue?”

Satish Mishra of BSP asked for regulation of electronic media in Kashmir coverage, Asauddin Owaisi of MIM demanded people-centric solutions and a ban on visits by human rights bodies to the Valley.

DMK’s Kanimozhi said there should be no engagement with other countries and PDP’s Muzaffar Hussain beg pleased for no use of pellet gun. “This unrest is different from 2010. People from rural areas coming to streets,” he said.

TDP’s YS Chowdhury, a new minister, came out with the idea of using drones to keep a tab on Kashmiris and identify the trouble-makers.
modi saw 1 millions balochis protesting in his dreams. there are not even 300 people in balochistan who wants freedom. he just want to move the world focus from kashmir. secondly kashmir is a disputed territory and pakistan is a member of dispute so its our legimite right to discuss kashmir but what gave india right to dsicuss balochistan. and at last can indian mention that when did People of azad kashmir have been hit with pellet guns or there were hundred thousands people protesting against pakistan human right violation. even the crime rate in pakistan controlled kashmir is the lowest in the region with the richest people of the region who have there own government and police and there is no presence of pakistani forces in kashmir apart from those defending LOC.
if pakistan starts to discuss issues of human right violations in india it will ake atleat 1 week to discuss each one as india is full of independence movements and the attrocities against minorities as well as the lower cast hindus are at its peak specially when the extremist hindu government in india under modi is there how could they find peace.

It is very funny see the Pakistanis comments
when Indian PM and GoI changed their tactics.
Unlike any other PM Modi will walks the talks.
Let see how our western neighbour defends this diplomatic onslaught
