Malaysia considering to purchase JF-17 Thunder from Pakistan: Malaysian HC

Malaysia buying JF17 is very interesting. Given that India trains Malaysian pilots on the Flankers and also assists in their maintenance, what are the chances that IAF will have complete insight into the Thunder once Malaysia procures them

They are more then welcome.. JF-17 is not vedic technology neither we claim it to be one...

As

As the Malaysian clearly stated they will buy not more than 20 jets as it will affect their pilot flying hours and the replacement will be for both 8 Mig-29s and 9 F-5s(4 RF4).
As their budget for this is over 2 billion expect them to select a pretty high end fighter.
20 high end fighters. the jf-17's low price tags means they can increase numbers to what they can.

Yeah vedic standard :omghaha:

You don't get it do you? Today's 4th gen combat jets are about two main things- agility and avionics. To date, chinese avionics are a bit of a mystery to the rest of the world. This sale will enable IAF and other friendly forces to get some (if not complete) insight into the actual capability of Chinese avionics and weapon systems. If your principal opponent has deep insights into these two aspects of your frontline fighter, it makes it easy for them to develop tactics to counter it. You lose the element of surprise which is an essential element in any conflict.

Lol.The same logic can also be used to say that Tejas was on trailer display so that people will get a closer look. You just busted your own argument.

Closer look means inside the cockpit not on trailer just being towed when it was suppose to fly. Man U really are just arguing for sake of argument.

And also, closer look (of inside the cockpit) is for potential buyers, not for general public.

quote of the year! JF 17 with western avionics? when Pak and China themselves couldn't get it!!

Im outta here.....:hitwall:

Malaysia won't increase the numbers as they already face a shortage of pilots and are also require several MB-339s but even then it would not solve the pilot problems fully. They even stopedp F-5 flights this novrmber even though they had 4-5 years of life left as they needed pilots for Hornets and MKM.

Looks like you will fail to pass even mullah standards.:rofl::flame:

OK man, got your point. Malaysia will not buy JFT. Now happy? If you are, then get lost..

When the access is given to the maintenance team, it is reserved to specific areas and specific planes.

Maintenance contracts do not state that the team would have access to all the places and to planes that are protected by another agreement.

Malaysia is Pakistan's friend and we have a lot of trust on them. You don't have to be concerned about it.

Malaysia buying JFT is just another wet dream like Pak buying Su-35s:)

We had a wet dream of selling JFT to Sri Lanka as well. India is now wetting her bed (by trying to stop SL from buying JFT).
