Beijing vows justice after Islamic State kills Chinese captive

Only if the US has given up in SCS and pivot back to the middle east, then we can join forces with them against IS as a backroom deal.

It's not like that "Pivot to Asia" has ever worked anyway.

We must need better reason than that if we go into a war.

Its just perrenial lover's quarrel between Japan and China. In the end, China is everything for us. Its just that geopolitically, you know, you have to cover all bases and co-developmentalist interest(s). :)

Anyways, here's current headlines, lol.

He says many things.

On the very same day Japan's economy shrink 0.3% made headline,he spoke on G20 saying Chinese economy is dragging the world down..LOL!!

Seriously, the person who prepared for his speech should be fired.

Now even NHK thinks it's embarrassing and deleted the content.

Well both Japan and China are the largest trading nations in Asia. Our economies are inexplicably linked, and any Chinese slowdown does inherently affect Japanese exports, since China is our largest trading partner. The trade volume between Japan and Greater China (Mainland, Taiwan, HK, Macao) already exceeds $500 Billion. The largest bilateral trade in Asia.

In fact China is the only country that is growing despite global slowdown. In fact Turkey's own economy depreciated, so did Romania's, the same with the rest of Europe and most of the developed countries. Japan's contraction is understandable considering she is an export driven country.

I agree that pragmatic steps must be taken to redouble efforts to normalize Sino-Japanese relations. Geopolitical and security risks are there, naturally, however, one cannot ignore that we are each other's top trading partners. I suppose this opens a new potential for diplomatic rapport between Tokyo and Beijing.

All is normal in the perennial dance of Japan and China.

Now even NHK thinks it's embarrassing and deleted the content.

Well, there's no false statement there. What he said is true; any variance in Chinese growth and development affects, radically evidently so, Japan. Japan is heavily vested in China.

No active participation on part of China in the geopolitical game played around the ISIS. We see that the only sincere actors in the Syrian theater are the Syrian Army, Russia/Iran and the Lebanese Hezbollah. The rest are still playing the little geopolitical games, with Obama doing romantic theatrics with dictators like Saudi Arabia and Qatar on the "future of Assad."

How cute!

ISIS is toast; it is politically super correct to hate ISIS these days. The point was to abhor ISIS from the very beginning like China and Russia did and stayed on that line.

Obama, getting involved in the Middle East more deeply now, has twisted and turned so many times that lots of seasoned belly dancers are having difficulty to follow up.

Now ISIS is everybody's enemy. Even Democratic Congo Air Force can come and drop a few bombs on Raqqa if it wishes some live training for its armed forces and the world will clap in ecstasy.

Here, they want to blur the bigger strategic picture. Do not blind your vision with the apparently big tree (ISIS) and miss out on the even bigger forest (foreign-backed Jihadist terrorism in Syria that the US and its allies now work to market as the moderates).

There is a war of terror list going on behind the doors as we speak, do you know that?

Qatar, Turkey, KSA, USA, UK and the likes are working on a terror list as to who to put there. And every one of them is working to keep their own terrorists safe and off the list. Turkey have lots of terrorist groups under their direct nutrition, for example, active in the west of Euphrates.

If you honestly wish to end the war, help Russia seal off the rest of the border with Turkey. That area is the most dangerous and the terrorists nested in those areas are the very ones that Turkey and the likes are working to sell as the moderates. They are in fact moderates only by the fact that they hold particular country flags (US, KSA, Qatar, Turkey) in one hand (and a butcher's knife in the other) while ISIS hold their own flag and butcher's knife in both hands.

It is only Russia that is bombing terrorists “indiscriminately." Hence we can say Russia is the only democratic actor that gives every terrorist the right to "one man one ticket to hell."

China stands politically and financially behind Russia's war efforts. This is our official line as has been clearly voiced in the G20.

A funny read on this thread with most of the opinion coming from person who have no experience handling both Geopolitical Issue and Insurgency Warfare........

ISIS or ISIL or whatever you call them today, is not a physical entity, it's an ideological entity, just because you invaded Syria or Iraq, it would not simply stopped because they were occupied. At worse even if Assad regime really and totally take control of all of Syria, ISIS would simply rage a insurgency with Assad Force, nothing has change.

The problem, real problem lies in this complicated factors is that ISIS cannot be destroyed by Physical Force and the only way you can finish off an ideology is to change the ideology, and that have to start with local village, one by one and then to ISIS controlled cities and then progress to the whole area and province. You change the ideology from within. That's the only way anyone can stop ISIS.

What happen if you use force to try to destroy ISIS? For every commander you kill, two will take its place, then they will go underground and start fighting on their own term, MOST IMPORTANTLY IN YOUR OWN SOIL. Bear in mind they are not a conventional force, you can kill a person, but you cannot kill an idea. As long as there are people believe in this idea, no matter how many bomb you drop, no matter how many insurgent you kill, there will always be one that are going to replace the lost. Russia know that but they still engage ISIS physically because they want to divert the world attention on the Frozen Battleground in Ukraine.

Most of you don't know that because most of you don't have counter insurgency experience.

And I was asking Chinese members to condemn the ISIS instead of taking ambiguous lines like 'it is a result of Paris policies' and so on.
I guess you must have messed up Chinese with westerners. It is westerners who always condemn China's domestic policies whenever there is terrorist attack in China. We never play that ugly trick to other countries.

Bear in mind that there was not a single suicide bombing incident in Iraq before the US regime toppled Saddam Hussain.

After that, indoctrination and deadly suicide missions slowly became the norm.

With ISIS, it reached the pinnacle because as I listen from my friends in Syrian active resistance, these people blindly walk to death. They love death.

Practically, on the ground, the only effective force that are handling ISIS in the manner they deserve appears to be the Lebanese Hezbollah. With enough fire power from an able nation like Russia, ISIS can be defeated.

The ideological victory takes time. But, the urgent task is to first destroy the physical and human resource structures that feed the ideology. You know, base structure-superstructure thing.

If we go deeply into the ideological roots of ISIS, we will see lots of US regime there, at times in cooperation with regional governments, from the mujaheeden war against the Soviets in Afghanistan to the famous post-Saddam US operated Iraqi prisons that trained and graduated the best and brightest of ISIS leadership as we know it today.

Now, the Western corporate media and their state-line experts want to sell people another story.

They will first try to people to get over indulged with this ISIS thing. Create a bogeyman. This is to screen out and clean off the bad images of other terrorist groups that now are being labeled as "moderates." This is despite the fact that these moderates have been documentarily involved in crimes.

Then the Western experts will try to name and defame Russian efforts in the hope that global image of Russia is tainted. They will bring up certain smoke screens: 1. Russian bombs kill civilians. CNN can air lots of crying folks. Then expect us to forget, during the bombing of Baghdad (shock and awe), no civilians were ever hurt. 2. Russia wants to divert your attention (gullibles) from Ukraine. 3. Putin wants to protect Assad, a butcher, dictator, a worse killer than Obama in Pakistan and Yemen with drone attacks (including wedding convoys).

You buy it if you like the Western media and their flimsy-eyed "Chiiiina experts" "Ruussia experts," "counterterrorism gurus,“ deng deng.

But the reality remains. Changes are on the ground as we speak.

The fact is, some so-called dictators can handle these islam extremists with their iron fist. Such as,Kemal, Gaddafi,Saddam, even Assad. But you westerners, as democracy addicts, made way for the terrorists by all kinds of color revolutions. And westerners leave this mess to local people and tell everyone there is nothing you can do to the terrorism. Funny.

Well yes because look who were the ones who ANNOUNCED the start of suicide car bombings:
CNN.com - Iraq promises more suicide bombings - Mar. 29, 2003
"Iraq's vice president said an Iraqi military officer carried out Saturday's deadly suicide bomb attack and promised more to come"

CNN.com - Suicide bombing near hotel kills six Iraqis - Oct. 12, 2003

lol, as if ISIS was not already EXISTED BEFORE the US invasion in Iraq.

Why talk to a dude who clearly know nothing but only spew anti-US view on the internet? ISIS's core ideology existed long in 1996, long before US invasion to even afghanistan when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi theoretically founded ISIS former inclination during a jail sentence in 1996 in Jordan and founded Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad in 1999 once he got out of prison.

The idea itself was not directly related in US or even Iraq to begin with, but a group uses bases in Iraq to raise Jordanian insurgency.

But then those people here, especially @TaiShang know absolutely nothing about these lol. It's quite fun to watch them make an arse out of themselves. Why ruined the fun?

dude, in case you haven't notice, most of those organisation (ISIS, AQI, JT, Haqqani) was form DURING those dictator in charge, it's not that they "CAN TAKE CARE" of them but rather, they simply don't care about them, simply as they are themselves dictator, they don't really care about how sectarian violence tore thru their own country, as long as they don't touch their own regime affluence.

Violence from those group were still rampant before US invasion of Iraq in 2003, those group did not just create and sit there and do nothing prior to US Invasion. or you really believe Haqqani did just sit there in Pakistan/Afghan border and do nothing between their creation in 1985 until the US invasion in Afghanistan in 2001?

Man, you and your fellow Chinese are so gullible, like this @TaiShang dude, to a point that even funny. Better learn something about Middle East before open your mouth on Middle Eastern issue. Than saying oh, this is all US fault. LOL
