India GDP per capita Rs 99,872 ($1567) 2014-15

Nice try troll you look Poor in math india population at same 2014 -15 period was 1,26,74,01,849

According to current US$: INR(63.74)

& also Indian economy was more than 2 trillion at same time period as he calculated GDP using current INR rate which is wrong way to do as currency keep fluctuating during 1 year

Go to school kid stop wasting my time with your idiotic post know the difference between GNI & NNI

Look who is stupid here by inventing a population data into a NNI post and arrive at feel-good GDP per capita and mumbo jumbo on currency exchange rate, get educated

@save_ghenda

The figures that you quote is NNI, and NOT GDP.

FYI..
Gross National Product(GNP) = GDP + net income from abroad.

Net National Income = GNP - depreciation.

How to calculate depreciation ? That's something you should figure out, before you think of posting articles like this.

I was going to say that !!

You really know from time to time what level of schooling different people have here despite the constant claims.

I did it to correct your fake data which you purposely distorted for you own feel good moment ,I didn't know that it was based on NNI & not GNI while I wrote it

Currency has been stable between 62-63 since year now. Anyway seem like $1546 is correct figure instead of $1390 for 2014-15. I will edit thread title.
No ,I just ready that the report its based on NNI & not GNI ,GDP per capita is way above what I mention

It is clear you don't know an iota of economics. That's why you are arguing against definitions and have clearly no appreciation of the terms which economists use on a daily basis.

As for the thread starter, I will give him a pass. Despite the perceived intentions, if a member is willing to learn then it's fine !

But India's GNI is Rs124.986 trillion as of 2014-15 according to that table..... To get real per capita we just need to divide it with population.

By the way India is yet to release its official figures. You are mistaking for something else. I am sure when India releases its official figures they will be way above IMF or World Bank estimates. Already Modi is saying that India is the fastest growing economy with a growth rate of more than 8.5%and the GDP size of $ 2.5 trillion, which many find little too much.

any source ??
