CM-400AKG: A tough job for the Indian Navy

HappY DreamS :sleep::sleep::sleep:

lolzzz

its not a dream but pakistanies love there ostrich like denial attitude dont worry its better for us if you think that way you know it and china knows it that unlike pakistan Indian navy is not indias weak link in defence and the woid is onli going to grow larger keep dreaming about your devine JF17's and super duper CM400's when the time comes paksitan khair jane do ...sleep well :coffee:

cannnot we use babur cruise missile to destroy air craft carriers deep into the sea? that is about 750 KM?

believe me bro...pin point accuracy with infrared and pre loaded image matching of target.
That alone does not guarantee any precise guidance, moving target going at 24 knots can quickly travel out of the grid the missile is fired upon. Infrared range finder would have to be able to look at the target for the missile to be guided until it's hit. Currently Pakistan does not have the capability nor the LRTR in it's inventory to even detect anything at the distance of 500 km let alone 350km. India Currently stations the LRTR Swordfish with upgraded range of 1500 km which can detect and track any flying target at the height of 15 kilometers and 1500km directional range.

Anyways, we seem to be doing well :)
Point 1

Technically locking horns for a full blown war with India I dont think pakistan has the muscle for it, truth is pakisthan cannot afford to fight for 15 days may be 20 days max, so all these toys make least difference. The world today has moved from muscle power to money power. War is actually fought with money.

India considers pakisthan as an irritant which can give it small troubles and there is the full stop.....
Status quo ante is in India's favor, we keep saichen, sir creek and also kasmir. Nothing on ground will change this.

Point 2

If you think one can attack a nuclear weapon state and its assets with missiles and get away with it , good luck to all those planners who are thinking so.

Point 3

Remember we are eternal neighbors yes may be we cannot solve all our differences but conflict is not the answer.

The end game of India pakistan will be to resolve their difference and build an economic model on lines of SAARC

Point 4

You people acquired nuclear weapons did it stop US drone attacks, Did it stop america from violating your airspace, CIA is running havoc in your political establishment which even ISI knows, what are they able to do. If nuclear weapons cannot ensure sovereignty then what can these small toys do.

The solution to pakisthan problem is

Flush the Jihadi outfits and follow the turkey model even Mr. Jinnah dream of pakisthan was based on it. Build strong economic ties with both India and Afganisthan if pakisthan follows its old policies one day it will implode on the pakisthani state.

Yes it works for a stable ground target...but the AC is a moving target and the seeker parameters are a bit different.

Very impressive
What's the cost of each missile

I am sure it will NOT be the case when you lose a few flankers to the -52!! I can count on it.

Attrition is an inevitable reality of warfare, nothing new or extra-ordinary about it. So what's your point?

And yes, the more pertinent question to ask might be just how long can the 18 F-16 B52's hold out before being overwhelmed and annihilated. Or do you imagine them generating a kill ratio of 15:1?

Agree with you, I am definitely sure that "look down mode" is lesser than A2A mode... To kill a carrier in carrier battle group is tough job (though not impossible)
1. First point of defense is Patroling aircraft (F18/Rafael/MiG29K)
2. second layer of defence is Air defense ships (usually frigates) with 3 layer of security, LRSAM, MR-SAM, SR-SAM
3. 3rd layer of security is Carrier itself, the SAM on carrier
4. 4th layer of security is gatelling gun, it create a wall of bullets in front of invader...

Finally, if missile hit Carrier the massive size of carrier itself is defense , It will be unusable but not destroyed...

Welcome Carrier Killer...:P
That is what they mean by carrier killer, it is to render it unusable, mainly its runway .. the battle group aircrafts will be hunted down and all the battle group will become vulnerable to attack and destruction.
All your points 1,2,3,4 are good in theory but today's saturation cheap and dangerous sea skimming missiles combined with the coup de grace coming from Ballistic missiles can paralyze any AC.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blockading Pakistani coast lines will bring in China and may other nations to face IN, when their vital interests will be endangered, so they won't allow that in the first place. If India still goes ahead then it will have to face many navies, not only the Pakistani one. This is very realistic now a days considering the development of the Gwadar port and its handling by China. I do not think that India would like to face China.

You are right with point 1 2 3 but at point 4 you are wrong because you dont know the actual dynamics of WoT in Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Get youself enlightened with actual dynamics and then discuss.

This Missile can complete destroy Indian Frigates and Destroyers and pretty much take out Air Craft Carrier for very long time
