Health Minister JP Nadda had earlier said that the 21 laboratories capable at present of testing swine flu were "not enough" and the government was planning to set up H1N1 testing facilities in every state with financial provisions being made for it.

The government has repeatedly asserted that it was "very serious" about combating the disease and has asked the people to not panic but remain alert.

Swine flu is very contagious!!
And it usually peaks in winters so am assuming as the temperature increases H1N1 would stop spreading.

Enjoy that Pork stew !! and those Pork chops BBQ pork chops sold in dhabas

Swine flu is transmitted from human to human. Only connection it has with pigs is that it developed in a pig somewhere in china few years ago. Ignorance is bad, read up. And enjoy the pork chops!

But mad cow disease, aka Bovine spongiform encephalitis can be caused from directly eating Cows) But chances are low, so enjoy the steaks too.
