Of course they are illegal. If a foreign powers kills your citizens in your nation - can you really call yourself sovereign? It is called an invasion.

These drones are useless, they have killed more civilians than militants. And hatred towards USA in Pakistan is at its peak because of these drone strikes.

Drone strikes have not killed more civilians than militants. Hatred for the USA is not caused by drone strikes but rather by Pakistani feelings of humiliation because of Pakistani government weaknesses.

These drones are in Pakistan with full willingness of Pakistani army and govt so I don't think they are illegal. Moreover, they are helping cleanse Pakistani terrorist scums, something which Pakistan itself was incapable of doing.

US killed 2 'Arabs' in first drone strike in South Waziristan in more than a year

By BILL ROGGIO, September 28, 2014

Today the US launched its first drone strike in Pakistan's Taliban-controlled tribal agency of South Waziristan in more than a year.

The CIA-operated remotely piloted Predators or Reapers struck a compound in the town of Wana in South Waziristan, Pakistani officials and Taliban fighters told Dawn.

"Two Arab militants and two of their local allies" were killed in the airstrike, the officials and Taliban fighters said. The "Arab militants," who have yet to be named, are likely members of al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has not released an official statement announcing the deaths of their operatives, nor has their been chatter on the al Qaeda-linked Twitter accounts associated with the group's network in Afghanistan.

Wana is a hub for the Mullah Nazir Group, a Taliban organization that controls much of the western part of South Waziristan. The group is named after Mullah Nazir, a Taliban commander who self-identified as an al Qaeda leader before he was killed in a US drone strike in January 2013. The group is currently led by Bahawal Khan, who is also known as Salahuddin Ayubi.

In Pakistan’s Tribal North, U.S. Drone Strike Kills Four

By SALMAN MASOODSEPT. 28, 2014

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — An American drone strike in northwestern Pakistan killed at least four people suspected of being militants, Pakistani officials said Sunday.

The drone strike occurred Sunday afternoon in Karikot in the South Waziristan tribal region. A vehicle parked near a house was the target, a local administration official said on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to talk to the media. Two of those killed were believed to be citizens of Arab nations. But their identities could not be immediately confirmed.

This was the second American drone strike within a week and the first strike in South Waziristan in almost a year.

Last Wednesday, a drone strike in Dattakhel, in the adjacent North Waziristan tribal region, killed at least 10 people who were thought to be militants.

Since Pakistani govt. provides the intel, don't think its illegal.

Well, the issue is "illegal" according to WHO?? There is no recognized legal system that could adjudicate the "legality" of US drone strikes in the FATA parts of Pakistan. IF Pakistan thinks a "crime" has been committed on its territory because of a drone strike, it should bring criminal charges against the perpetrators. Then, if the charges were sustained by a guilty verdict, then we could say that according to Pakistan the drone strike was illegal. Until such transpires, the "illegal" charge is just political hype.

I doubt they provided the intel for where Osama was :)
Also, Pak does not provide intel for ALL strikes - heck, some are seen in Pak as "strategic assets" and viewed through the lens of "Good Taliban" ; "Bad Taliban".
