i was wondering if anyone had any idea, there have been a few missions where both armies fought side by side. do the seniors of both forces try and distance contact from one another? any thoughts?

Both Armies are extremely disciplined and professional contingents, renowned for bravery and valor. When standing side by side they share the same sense of discipline and pursuit of their mission objectives as they do when standing on opposite sides.

they behave like professional armies , most peoples wont believe , but Pakistan and Indian soldiers have more battle proven experience than most of armies , including CT

historical reason
as british discipline..british took much time and negry to make it lean and lethal and effective for thier use ..so now follwoing same tradition

Professional
both are driven mostly with SOPs and hierarchy

Soldires
Soldires is last person who want to have war and 1st person to stad when it broke out..
they know value of human value and freedom
so ready to defend it above nationlism if deemand soo

there was one mission years ago in which Indian helicopter pilots flew pak soldiers into a guerrila zone in africa, the reason why i remember was because 1 guy from the SSG lost his eyes because of an explosion in front of his face. the mission was a success other then that 1 SSG losing his eye sight.

i think he's being polite. he's doing it to better relations. I think the pak army general would have said the same thing about the indian army.

very cordial...PK UN troops have served under an IA UN Commanding officer (Maj.Gen)

Frankly they get along at the border too, it is the stupid civilians who think other wise. Around 15 years back I went to see the ceremony at Wahga with my friends. One of my friend started teasing a sikh guard at the border. When a Pakistani ranger came to him and said how dare you insult some one in the uniform.

its wok well

And we can understand each other better..like if someone says " Lath mar bhende takeko" then everyone know what they have to do:lol:...And that's COOL....would love to hear exchange of those words in UN mission between IA and PA.

on topic:-
Both are professional...." Dosato ko milo dosato ki taraha, dushmano ko milo dushmano ki taraha"...and on UN mission we r frnds and team-mate.

Even I have heard that they have good friendship who are on border duties (BSF and Rangers). They exchange wine and food some special occasion.
