I think i noticed in the LS-6 test launch video (the jf-17 one) that the aircraft does become unstable (rolls slightly to the other side) for a brief period, but then corrects instantly. FBW helps in that case, the computer knows the expected mass of the missile, and knows when the missile is away this will create instability and thus as such compensates for it by stabilizer movement.

Can the fuel from one tank be pumped on to the other side or middle tank to balance out? (like in civilian airliners)

As far as I know, cross feed is done from tanks to tanks (internally), but not sure about external tanks.
External tanks, i think, only feeds the main fuel tank directly, i don't think they have the capability to cross feed each other.

China similar to the third generation of RD - 93 medium thrust engine has completed research and development, start a production line for mass production. Once the engine to achieve production, JF - 17, sword drones and fighters 31 aircraft will change homemade turbofan 13 in the engine
 
Strange........in the first pic there is one C802 and one fuel tank on inner hardpoint.......doesn't it make the fighter unstable the moment missile is launched or if tank is usedup/jetissoned?
In war time AShM maybe carried under belly

Thanks for reply. I wanted a source from which you got the news. For the last so many years there was no news about WS-13. I want to have a source before I can celebrate. :-)

Just wanna ask about launch rails, JF-17 launch rail looks odd as compared to the launch rails of F-16. What do you think about launch rail of JF-17, would it put more stress on wing as compare to the launch rail of F-16 ?
 
What I keep wondering about is why the PAF is persisting with the PL-5E-II. While it is comparable to the AIM-9M-8(in manoeuvrability and off boresight ability with a slightly better seeker) it would seem prudent for the PAF to simply focus on a new dogfight missile for its flagship jet. especially when it has done so already for certain older platforms within its inventory.

Lack of HMDS might be delaying a new dogfighting missile.

The HMDS exists with certain squadrons operating a dedicated dogfighting type(although it is kept well guarded secret). I believe the issue may have to do with A missile that the PAF wants to have full access to which it can mate and employ with a HMDS(which are readily available).

Two missiles which would be readily available to PAF are PL-10 and A-Darter and unfortunately both are in development phase as of now. As per the news, first A darter would be in service in 2016 and missile exports would began as early as 2017. It would further take two years to integrate the missile on any new aircraft. Seeing MAR-1 took 5-6 years to be in service of PAF from deal signing to integration of missile on mirages to be in PAF inventory, A darter in PAF inventory would be at 2021-2022 at the earliest

For PL-10, no news about it's development cycle, but seeing how A-darter program going, a suitable guesstimate would be 2020 at the earliest if PAF sign deal in next one or two years for 5th generation SRAM with either china or Brazil-South Africa
