Ready to join hands with Mayawati if Lalu mediates: Mulayam Singh Yadav

How come Lalu is still out? wasn't he sentenced to jail? Amit shah with a little help from the HMO should put leaders like Lalu.Nitish and Mulla mullayam in their place.

All these ppl Lalu Nitish Mulayam Mayawati all separated for personal ambition .....everyone wanted to be CM and everyone wanted to earn heaps of money...... now when all are under threat they are regrouping. Imagine a party where Mayawati is President, Mulayam is Gen Secy , Nitish is Spokesman and Lalu is PM candidate .......soch ke rongte khade ho jayenge :lol:

Winds have changed. Mamata herself is getting close to BJP behind the curtain to save her fortress.

There is a strong wind of nationalism in India. People will throw out all those bastards who have cheated people and done politics on fake issues such as secularism rather than fulfilling the basic need of people and addressing real issues such as Medicine, food, cloth, Housing etc.

One who will support illegal immigrants and Islamic fundamentalist and try to bring law such as communal violence bill will be blown off by people. Scenario has changed. Literate people now vote in big numbers. Memory of people have increased. People have not forgotten the what these bastards had done with Anna and Swami Ramdev.

Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Mulayam Singh yadav on Wednesday said that he is ready to join hands with his arch-rival and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati if RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav mediates in this regard.

“If Lalu is ready to mediate, then I will consider joining hands with Mayawati,” SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav said.

The SP chief was responding to Lalu Prasad Yadav's recent suggestion that Mulayam Singh Yadav and Maywati should also joined hands in Uttar Pradesh to defeat the BJP in the same way as he has allied with his bitter foe Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal (U) in Bihar.

The coming together of two traditional arch-rivals can mark a new beginning in the caste-driven politics of Uttar Pradesh.

Ending weeks of speculation, RJD chief Lalu Prasad and JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar last week came together and launched a joint campaign for the August 21 by-election to 10 assembly seats in Bihar.

The two former chief ministers shared stage after nearly 23 years, marking the beginning of a new phase in the politics of the state.

Lalu attacked the NDA govt and took digs at Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing a rally at Hajipur with Nitish Kumar.

The two leaders also attacked LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan and called him an opportunist for allying with the BJP.

Lalu also hoped that Mulayam Singh Yadav and Maywati also joined hands in Uttar Pradesh to defeat the BJP.

Nitish Kumar, who had parted ways with Lalu in 1994 and succeeded in dethroning him in Bihar in 2005 in alliance with BJP, said the Narendra Modi government at the Centre knows that it cannot fulfil the tall promises it has made and will resort to spreading religious passion to cling to power.

"They can run government. They cannot run the country. Did 'achchhe din (good days)' come?" he asked, referring to BJP's slogan during elections.

"Achchhe din will never come. But they have come for some people in BJP. In fact, their 'apne din (own days)' have come," said Kumar, who split with BJP last year over his opposition to Modi's elevation as prime ministerial candidate of BJP, and quit as chief minister after his party JD(U) was routed in the recent Lok Sabha polls.

BJP, meanwhile, played down the coming together of the two regional leaders.

JD(U), RJD and Congress have formed a 'grand alliance' to defeat the BJP in the bypoll.

It was in 1991 Lok Sabha polls that Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar were last seen together in campaigning. Nitish Kumar, who had contested from Barh constituency then, had lost.

Their alliance was announced on July 30 and their leaders said the move was necessary to strengthen secular forces and to defeat communal parties.

JD(U) and RJD, which parted ways in 1994, came together after the BJP swept the recent Lok Sabha polls in Bihar.

Ready to join hands with Mayawati if Lalu mediates: Mulayam Singh Yadav

Lalu + Nitish ------------> To Stop Modi.

Now Mulayam + Maya --------------> To Stop Modi.

Even in Bengal Communists cosying up to Mamata to stop Modi.

2014 has done one thing to India which never happened in last 67 years, If there was some misconception of IDEOLOGY earlier, they have been removed all together, Now chor-chor coming together to retain POWER. There was never anything called IDEOLOGY.

Your views please.

Unlike Nitish, Mayawati has patience. She knows that allying with Mulayam in these days will only make her support base smaller. Dalits will not vote for SP and Yadavs will not vote for BSP. However both Yadavs and Dalits can vote for BJP.. :)

In both the cases of Bihar (Nitesh-Lalu) & U.P. (theoretical combining of Mulayam-Mayawati), the only benefit is a consolidation of the Muslim vote. The last election has shown BJP breaching the 40% mark. If Mayawati joined Mulayam now, it will pretty much be disastrous for her base which was already splintering & going towards the BJP. There is always also a risk of counter consolidation, something that can make other equations irrelevant. I think the anti-BJP forces will see a long term slipping of their bases because the supporters are not always aligned with those of the other group.

As usual your post shows political maturity.

Mayawati is not stupid and neither does she lack patience like Nitish, nor is she driven by false ego like nitish.

She is busy trying to consolidate dalit votes in her favour.

Yogi Adityanath today in Loksabha during Communal Violence debate... A masterstroke by Modi govt. ..

Wont be easy to do that. Most of the riots are taking place between "seculars" and Dalits.. BSP leaders are busy pacifying "seaculars".. Will be interesting to see if Non-Jatavs ever return to BSP especially if Kanshiram gets Bharatratna..

Shameless. Lalu responsible for plundering Bihar, and SP responsible for UP in chaos are natural allies of course.
I have never seen them doing anything worthwhile in their tenure.

Full speech of Yogi Adityanath .. Start from 9:55...

In reality they both are not natural allies. Both hate each other. Lalu did not let Mulayam become PM and Mulayam has not forgotten that. This is just Modi effect.
