Azerbaijan interested in Pakistan’s long-range missiles

Wishful thinking. These Azeris r known for changing their minds in very last minute and i honestly dont really consider them reliable(JFT is an example). So missile deal is really a Dream.

Even so Azerbaijan would go ahead and buy from one of your traditional weapon suppliers : Russia(Iskender) , Israel and Turkiye. All three of countries are capable of delivering short range BM to you so whats the point going for far away countries like China or Pakistan?
and why r u so concern over that? Even i dont think its true nor we really be selling them tech but u seem to be particular concern?

BTW do u know Yr Yildrim is based on our BRBM?

Well, just speculating. "Interest" doesn't equal "purchase", so not that much to talk about actually.

They are reliable for sure. It's just Pakistan is not a reliable defence partner (not yet). Look at defence ties with AZ-TR or IL-AZ. With a great probability, Azerbaijan will go for our ongoing long range missile program.

and, J-600T Yıldırım SRBMs are developed within ToT from China. Not Pakistan. (Neptune)

Media exaggerates a lot. They are probably negotiating for battle field range missiles i.e. Nasr or Ghaznavi. I guess that accounts for long range in their military sense.

LOL yr just defending yr regional partner. But not ever one will share same thinking. We have seen their rather uncouth behavior over JFT deal and their unusual ties with israel. Hence they are not really in my personal good books.

BTW yr Yildrim is based on our BRBM and its no secret even this yildrim is also inservice with Pak armed Forces as well with TOT. So this alone shows what it is.......In turkey its used as a Artillery system.....@The Deterrent

BS news at its best :

1-Azerbaijan don't have any enemies at long ranges all enemies their at their border.
2-You can not sell or transfer the tech of a missile got longer range than 300 km.
3-For BMs , CMs and artillery rockets under 300 km we are already providing them if not there is always Russia and Israel other there as Azerbaijan's traditional weapon suppliers.
Chine has never signed the contract which means they can sell missiles over 300km. I exactly remember our officials talking that they are interested missiles more than 300 km, around 600-700km capable. Have Pakistan signed that contract?
Azerbaijan got TOT from Pakistan for Jet bombs and there is a factory in Azerbaijan producing them.

Exactly.

@Kamil_baku

I remember the words of the official as well, actually he didn't say "interested" but that they held negotiations, however he didn't mention any range, so don't make things up. He actually said tactical ballistic missiles, which means something around 300 km at max.

What do you mean by JFT?
We interested in your jet but it use Russian Engine, which probably Russia not officially but in talk mentioned that they are not going to sell for Azerbaijan. because, jet is the only thing that Russia dont sell to Azerbaijan.
Other than that, we have great relations with Pakistan army officials. Azerbaijan wants to get the latest technology against Armenia who uses Russian Technology. What else Pakistan can offer to Azerbaijan with higher technology than Russian have now?

Lol. No Turk on earth would consider Azeris as regional partner. We are a nation with two states.

It's because national interests come first in business. Azerbaijan signed a wide range of a product contracts from advanced EW systems to avionics upgrade of Mi-17. From T-155 Fırtına to AFVs. Never seen them abandoning any project.

As for Yıldırım, it came with 100% Chinese ToT. There are many sources and threads about it around the forum. And what artillery you are talkin

You can look for the video in our TV channels. Yaver Camalov was coming from Army Technology Expo(i dont remember which) and he mentioned even the name of the systems that there are interested and in negotiation level. I think Azerbaijan have purchased them already, because Armenia also has CHinese missiles that can hit more than 300 km.

That will be Nasr 60 km range and modernized version has some 120km range. Nasr (missile) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Note; The picture in the page is of Smerch not Nasr.. Below are its pictures....

No offense but behaviour of turkish members is really strange. It is as if someone stepped on their very deep defense interests. You people need to know that no way in hell we are selling them anything above 300KM. News just mentioned long range missiles and their is no mention whether those were Air launched missiles or BRBM. Pakistan wont sell anything with a capability to deliver WMD.

It looks cool. But Azerbaijan has bought Smerch and Turkish T-300 missiles(also TOT to produce missiles locally). I really want Azerbaijan keep good relations with Pakistan and Turkey. We all are brother nations.

Oh sister i knew u wont believe it. But in reality Pak-Turk relations r way way more deep then it seems. Our Defence co-operation includes wide ranges of stuff. And as Pakistan is involved in the project so that will be kept a super secret as for us keeping a low profile works best for us because of these bloody voucher countries(remember in yr introduction thread i tol u to tell yr indian friend that yr in defence.pk and see his/her reaction??) around us. There was reason why we were able to make nukes a success when even better countries then us in the muslim world couldnt make them. There are number of examples the latest is of iran. So keeping things secret works best as far as we r concern Would u believe if i say one of yr UAVs named Anka as our parts in it? and there was a rumor Altay Tank's armor is of Pakistani origin.......However that was just a rumor Yildrim is actually based on Abdali BRBM Abdali BRMB - Google Search and now here r pictures of Yildrimhttps://J-600T Yıldırım SRBM - Google Search both r identical. Just because certain things dont get disclosed to media doesnt mean they dont exist or never happen.

And here is Yildrim being fired from our A-100 MRLS.A 100 MRL - Google Search First and seventh picture. However this A-100 is chinese made and produced under licence in Pakistan. Maybe thats why people confuse it like that. But the Ammunition it used is Yildrim!

That seems like a tactical rocket to me, but maybe you can mention more details. Azerbaijan has EXTRA purchased from Israel, which is essentially a tactical rocket. It has 150 km range and an impressive accuracy (10 m CEP).

So I'd say Azerbaijan would look for a proper tactical ballistic missile, with a range around 300 km.
